1. Click Trillian, connections, manage my connections, plugins, and check IRC.
2. Click identities and connections, add a new connection, irc.
3. Enter server and user information into the boxes.
4. Click connect.
5. Click close.
6. Click the IRC dot.
7. Click join a channel, fill in the name of the channel, and click ok.
