WHERE - Harveys at Dundas St. E. and Neilco Court, one block east of Dixie Rd. on the north side
WHEN - Saturdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm give or take a bit, (so forget there's such a thing as late)
WHAT - dinner together with friends
WHO - anybody who cares to drop in, no reservations or advanced warning needed
WHY - because we've finally decided where it's gonna be
HOW - Harvey's has its own building on the North East corner of the street. It's very visible. There's plenty of parking.
Car
-- from the west, get onto Dundas from Tomken (from the north) or Cawthra (from the south), or before, then drive through Dixie and turn left at the next light. Harvey's is the first entrance to the right.
-- from the east, get onto Dundas before Dixie, then turn right at the first light before Dixie. (Harvey's has a big sign, just past a former car lot, it's hard to miss. But if you do, turn right at Dixie, right again into the entrance past the strip mall, drive around the Future Shop to Neilco, turn right then almost immediately left.)
-- from the north, get onto Dixie before Dundas, turn left at Dundas and left again at the first light. Harvey's is the first entrance to the right. (From the south, turn left at Dundas, otherwise the directions are the same.)
-- from the west, take whichever bus will get you to Dundas and transfer to any #1, look for Dixie, (there's a strip mall to the left with a Timmies, a PharmaPlus and an Aamco to the left and a plaza with a Chinese place to te right), then ring off at the next stop which should be Neilco, (past a BadBoy.) Cross Dundas and you're there.
-- from the east, take whichever bus will get you to Dundas and transfer to any #1. Look for a Brick Furniture and ring off as you pass a car lot, the next stop should be Neilco right in front of Harvey's. if you miss it, get off at Dixie and walk back a block.
-- from east or west, take the Lakeshore train line to Long Branch and transfer to Mississauga Chance-It #5 bus up Dixie, get off at Dundas, (they always stop there, but there's an Esso station on the south side of Dundas and a PizzaPizza on the north side), then walk east past the PizzaPizza for one block, cross at the light and you're there.
