About Toronto
Located on the north shore of Lake Ontario, Toronto is
both the capital of the province of Ontario and the
largest metropolitan city in Canada. With a highly
multicultural population of roughly 6.5 million people
throughout the Greater Toronto Area (G.T.A.), the
powerful influence of the internet, and a strong market
for various science fiction media, it is no surprise that
there is a sizable furry community here.
Toronto, being a large city, offers no shortage of
places to go and things to do. With The Metropolitan
Toronto Zoo (among other zoos), the Ontario Science
Centre, the CN Tower, various museums, restaurants, dance
clubs, bars, bowling alleys, arcades (The Sega Playdium),
sporting arenas (SkyDome, Air Canada Centre, etc.), art
galleries, a large (and very open) gay & lesbian
community, Canadian beer, parks, and paint ball. Toronto
is a wonderful place to live, visit and simply get
together with other people for a good time.
