Appearance:	Sleek black jaguar in Gaki form, gaunt, tall red-eyed humanoid in human form.
Background:	Ginchi was a samurai in Feudal Japan hundreds of years ago renowned for his great courage and stainless honor, soldier of a Daimyo (lord) who was accused of treason against the emperor. The Daimyro denied the charges, and refused the right of seppuku, as did Ginchi, out of duty to his lord though he believed seppuku the only honorable thing to do. Both were dishonored, and executed. As legend has it, as Ginchi's body lay cold in his tomb, his soul burned with shame. It is said that as they laid him to rest, a cat leapt across his body, a very bad omen, and the sepulchers fled in terror, claiming the fallen samurai had opened his eyes! Barely two days later, news came to light that exonerated the Daimyo of the charge of treason, and it is said the corpse of Ginchi was heard to cry out in anguish and grief across the land. Shortly thereafter, the peasants began to grow sick. A terrible plague had descended on the land. Many blamed the emperor's shame and treachery and he began to lose favor in the court. His other Daimyo no longer trusted the petty man, and a civil war erupted. Disease and war raged across the land, and many were slain. In the dark hovels of their homes, on simple mud floors, the peasant whispered dread tales around their fires: "It is Ginchi-sama," they would whisper. "Possessed of a demon he has returned for vengeance.. He is now Gaki." They knew Ginchi had been carried to his grave in open moonlight, knew a cat had leapt over his body, for the foolish emperor had no more respect for those things than for his men, nor his people. The emperor decreed anyone who spread such tales put to death. The men who fought for the emperor sickened and died, and the samurai ronin who fought against him and his corrupt rule knew they were righteous, for it seemed the Gods themselves were on their side. When the emperor's castle fell at last to a final, blazing seige it is said the emperor himself was not to be found. All that was found was his hat, and a single servant, gone mad with terror. "It was the spirit of Ginchi," she said, white as an old lady though she was but a girl, "He came for the emperor.. and took him away." No more was ever said about the matter. Though even to this day parents still tell the tale of Ginchi to frighten small children who would tell lies or betray their friends, some samurai are said to speak the name of Ginchi with honor once more.. knowing that somewhere in Hell he fights on, his Bushido unbroken by death.
Abilities:	Wounds scored by blood-drain attack are absorbed to: Regeneration, Super-Strength, Super Speed Mind Block (Undead): Being Undead means he has "no mind" i.e., is mostly invulnerable to mental attack Nightmare: The "spooky" power. Oriental vampire can send nightmares to people. You can do this at some distance. Super Strength: enough to lift just under a ton (1600), with no blood, and well over a ton (3400) when fed. Domination: You must make eye-contact, but you can give long-term instructions, and few mortals can resist. Human Form: You can take the form of any human you wish, at will, indefinately. You can impersonate people with this, rather easily, though your disguise is not perfect. Pet Jaguar Human Servants (various): These know your true nature, but are conditioned and loyal to you. Large House & Burial Crypt In Cat form: Claws and Fangs: These are also your blood-drain attack. Sleep: In cat form, you cannot dominate (well, you cannot speak for one thing), however, you have the power to send humans to sleep (easing your feeding.) It takes concentration (a minute) to initiate sleep on a human target, but is effortless, and you can maintain it on an entire household if you want. Speed: Ground running speed is 35 MPH Heightened Senses Clinging: Being a vampire and a cat, the Gaki can cling to any surface, walking on sheet walls or hanging from ceilings. Tracking Stealth The Gaki is considered to still has access to your house, jaguar and servants, but not to your Wealth or Company.
Weaknesses:	Casts no shadow Dependence: blood, 24hrs. Blood must be human and living Recovery in Crypt Only: You regain your strength only while buried. You regenerate damage from blood (above) Susceptible to Blessed Weapons: Blessed weapons will do about 2x as much damage to you. (+10DG) Susceptible to Fire: Unlike a western vampire, you are especially susceptible to fire (+5DG) Holy Ground, Artefacts and Faith, as well as Garlic, and Incense, terrify you. Gaki cannot tread on holy ground, bear holy artefacts or True Faith, and are repulsed by garlic and incense smoke. Code of Honor: Bushido. Despite his undead state, and dishonor, Ginchi clings to these codes of honor like.. grim death. Fearsome: The jungle cat inspires fear and terror on sight, reaction doubled if they know you are a gaki as well! Susceptible to all Flares: With your heightened senses, bright lights, loud noises, smells and all other Flares are more effective on you.
Role-Playing:	Up to you, except that despite his monstrous state he is honorable. I would be very happy if he had a few interests, dislikes.. a few quirks.
