Appearance: Homid form: Very somber looking thin built man. Very course, straight hair. Always seems to wear a headband. (Onyx gem embedded in forhead). Seems to attract spiders.

Creature form: Large, six legged creature.. huge mandibles and three eyes. Skin is dark brown color and all hair sticks straight back at an angle upwards. Six legs, each about 8 feet long stick out of a segmented pelvic mass at even angles. Under his pelvic mass, there are several large pods, each angled to the front of his body.

Periapt.. in the shape of a spider.. it opens up into a third eye when in Crawl form. It is a blood hungry living creature and gets stronger the hungrier it gets. It is also hard as diamond.

Origin: Unknown, extra-terrestial

Background: An archaeological collegue of Crawly's discovered a spider with a gem apparently grafted into it and asked his opinion. On contact with Crawley, the gem took him as its new host, grafting itself to his forehead.
