The Skytemple:

The Skytemple is a satellite, located high above Randross' atmosphere, orbiting around the planet as an artifical moon. Its diameter is around 900 kilometers, and it houses many enviroments formed by its guardian, Kanmeros of the Soulflame. There is no way of accessing this place from Randross, but certain spots in the planet can teleport anyone to the original Skytemple, which is inside of the Satellite itself. Such spots may be found on the most unlikely of places, including the Great Forest and the Ice Continent, among some others.

Because many still believe in the legendary place, Kanmeros has made sure that these entrances where to be sealed and hidden, so no one may enter it without him knowing it. The floowing paragraphs will explain what is inside the orginal Skytemple, as well as the artificial satellite's story.

The original Skytemple is a small citadel, which floats on a continent-like structure. It houses many items found in history and weapons used by mighty heroes, as well as a library containing the tales that already passed, and stories of events yet to come.

The original Skytemple is a small citadel, which floats on a continent-like structure. It houses many items found in history and weapons used by mighty heroes, as well as a library containing the tales that already passed, and stories of events yet to come.

The celestials left a small group of wizards, named the Messahd. They would guard the place as history started anew, until a new guardian would come to take their place. The Messahd view the newborn world, keeping record of events and making sure nothing would interfere with the timeline.

The Messahd were not immortal, and there were no signs of the gods ever mentioning another guardian to them. Therefore, one of them descended to the world, in search of a worthy being that would replace them as its next guardian. After a long journey, he collected three eggs from a den of a dying race of great dragons named The Forbidden, trying to convince his colleagues that no other fine creature would do.

The rest agreed then, taking care of the eggs as their time kept growing thin. Two of the hatchlings died before they were born, leaving just one to take the responsibility as guardian, the red dragon Kanmeros. The Messahd departed then, each taking his own path, leaving the dragon to guard the Skytemple by himself. They thaught him everything to be needed, and what not to be done. Nothing more has ever been said about these strange folk, except that maybe they died after travelling on the world of Randross.

The Skytemple is divided in the following segments:

THE LIBRARY:

The Library houses millions of books which index the history of Randross, as well as stories of big kings and valiant heroes. It has over 1,001 floors, but only 801 can be visited. Not even Kanmeros is allowed to open the forbidden doors that lead to the mysterious floors.

Books vary greatly in every floor, it contains information about Randross, its fauna, flora, population, as well as the various races and subspiecies that inhabits the planet, wheter is from this timeline or one that is set in the future.

Weapons, spells, and war history information is also housed inside, each explained in full detail. It is said that the unlockable floors house information of times yet to come, and some volumes may even explain the lives of every single person on the planet, each page being written as they continue with their life.

THE DEMON GODDESS MAHJIRI:

One of the floors confines the demon goddess Mahjiri, who was defeated by the god of righteousness and justice, Faarhin. Her state is dorment, yet she still waits for the time she can be freed from her imprisoment.

THE ARMORY:

The armory is a vast vault where mighty weapons have been stored. Weapons used by both god and mortal are kept here, away from prying hands that could misuse their power. Swords that can vanish entire armies with one swing, magic rods that can change the weather with a simple wave, armors that not even the strongest of metal can break...these are but few of what it can be found here.

ALCHEMIST LABORATORY:

The former group of guardians used to toy around in here, experimenting with new kinds of metal and marveling at the result of their ingenuity. They cared not about gold itself, but it was useful when it could be enchanted with magic to create artifacts like rings or magic rods. Books of their work are archive in the library, locked safely inside one of the forbidden floors.

Items of extreme rarety are also within the Alchemist chamber.

THE ART MUSEUM:

THE OBSERVATORY:

Place located in the 101th floor of the Library in the original Skytemple. It was used by the god of Neutral ways to witness the history unfilding in Randross eons ago. The giant periscope is now electrical-wise, offering a glimpse of the planet with a sharpened view.

This Observatory is also home to a disemboided feline android named Metron. He studies the life un Randross, and has bowed to never intervene with the planet's history.

THE MAINHALL:

Guests start on this section, which is a large lounge. All entrances to the mentioned sections can be found here. The Library's entrance is constructed in the middle of this section, and it's guarded by an enormous angelic statue. The statue itself is over 75 feet high, and it is made of iron and cybernetic components, covered by marble and silver on the outside. It never leaves the spot where the door s guarded, and only activates whenever an intruder tries to get inside without Kan's permision.

Chairs, sofas, even beds are spread around the lounge. Fireplaces and a small libary with books of general interested are set within each wall. Kanmeros, the humanoid, may introduce himself to the visitors, giving general information and touring the place by himself.

ENTRANCE TO KANMEROS' LAIR:

This entrance connects to Kan's room, where the Dragon often sleeps. It is not certain if this leads to the real dragon, or one of his various cybernetic clones however.

The artificial satellite itself (named Skytemple by Kanmeros), includes the following sections:

Cherry Blossom Park:

A vast park composed of hundreds of Cherry Trees that blossom year round. A single trail covers the area, making it a pleasant walk for anyone that ventures trough it. Benches of any size and lentgh are placed on each side of the trail, and a small lake runs trough the side of the park. Sounds of birds and wild geese can be heard, but not a single creature actually lives here.

The floor around the trail is covered in a thick mat of cherry petals, making the place look like a giant pink-matted rug. Lanterns are also placed within 20 feet of each other, illuminating the place when night falls.

Once a Princess roamed trough this area. Kanmeros build the park solely for her. They enjoyed walks around the cherry-petals covered floors every other day. After the Princess perished, Kanmeros constructed a waterfountain with a life-sized statue of her in the middle. Since then, Kanmeros has visited the park by himself, stopping by the fountain and remembering the long walks he shared with her.

Forest:

This area covers most of the Satellite, being the biggest locations that has since the Mountain Range. It was built as a sacntuary for Wolves, which are one of Kan's favorite species. Deer and other game is also around, providing the wolf packs with food and adding balance to the nature of things.

Kanmeros' Lair:

This is the second home of Kanmeros, the Red Dragon. In here, he stores various rare items and treasure he found once when he visited Randross. He also visits this cave to bask on its warm temperatures and rest whenever he feels tired.

The cavern is constructed to meet his size and needs, and magma runs deep below the construction. Many chambers are also constructed to keep away unwanted intruders, along with traps that can stop the tenacious of thieves. Although somebody ever trying to break into his cave in space anytime soon, Kanmeros prefers to build it this way, it makes him feel comfortable knowing that any mere human could get lost easily.

Also, a mechanical version of himself roams the areas, ever vigilant to any unwanted guests. It will attack any non-authorized visitor without mercy.

Mechtron City:

Biochemical Lab-Dome:

Cloning laboratory used by Kanmeros. In here, he experiments with Native lives of the planet, along with other lifeforms he encountered in other dimensions and realities.

Another room leads to a chamber holding coccons, each preserving a human-like being inside. Although their bodies are well preserved, their lives had long ago expired.

Kanmeros found these bodies inside a spaceship that crashed in the wastelands of Randross 1,000 years ago. Keeping usurpers and curious onlookers at bay, he manifested a curse to help him gain time to rebuilt what was left of the crashing site.

Kan used DNA from one of this specimens to create Nadia, and the technology of the spaceship as a blueprint for the satellite.

Observatory2:

An addition made to the satellite on which Metron X resides. The cyborg surveys the Skytemple's maintenance units, and makes sure the Main Reactor runs properly.

This Observatory is nothing more than a large security room with monitor screens hanging from every corner and wall of the place.

Main Reactor:

Docking Area 551:

This section is segmented apart from the entire structure. It was built with docks to park spaceships that would seek a place to stay momentarily. Robots run this section, as well as Carmen, who serves as host to any that visits this place. The Docking Area is about the only place allowed by Kanmeros for any kind of visit.

The Lobby:

Assorted with rooms and facilities, the Lobby serves as a place of rest and enterteinment to any visitor from space. Robotic entities serve in the cafeteria and medical rooms, offering the best way to keep guests comfortable during their visit. Again, this is the only place where guests are allowed to stay, unless Kanmeros offers a tour trough the rest of the satellite.

Water tank:

The source of the watersupply resides within the heart of the satellite (About 100 meters below the Main Reactor area). Water is created and stored here, while it gets purified for the purpose of supporting life.

Mountains and Cliffs:

This region is filled with Mountains of various heights and shapes, not much life can be found here except scattered vegetation on the mountains. Kanmeros created this section as a relaxing resort, for he loves climbing rocky stablishments.

He considers it a stress-relieving area.

This place is not suitable for any other kind of live save draconic, for species of this kind can sustain oxygen in their lungs at this height.
