Goliath is well above average for size. His parents don't quite understand how he got that big seeing as how neither of them are all that large. Growing up in the small town of Lavon he found that he loved to go out for days at a time and live off the land. Being near a lake, this was entirely too easy.
In school he studied everything he could about nature and animals. By twelve he knew that he wanted to be a forest ranger when he grew up. After graduation from collage he started his current job as a ranger in a national park in east Texas were he lives to this day.
Because of his remote location and responsibility to nature he is not seen much unless he wants to find you. He is sometimes called a hermit because of his ways, but he is not anti-social like most hermits. He enjoys company, and visits family and friends when he has time off. Many times he is seen through his tracking down of a poacher through the forest, and the poacher usually regrets it. Only the dumbest or most daring poachers will even try to poach in his area of the woods. He has received many commendations for his actions, but he tries to play them down.
He has a small cabin in the woods he guards. Hand made, it still has all the modern conveniences. Most of his personal possessions can be found there or in his HUMM-V, the only vehicle big enough for him. Other then his HUMM-V and his cabin though he doesn't have much, he doesn't need it.
Stop on by and visit him some time, he might make you a fine wild meal and tell you some of his many stories he has heard from friends through the years. If no one is at the cabin, check a nearby clearing. If you wait there he will find you. He always does. And visitors never have long to wait.
