Summary: Bookshire Draftwood is the only child born to Bernard and Marion Draftwood, both parents respected researchers at the Government's Primary Astrophysics Research Center on Hectairia Four. From his first days in school, his tutors noticed his extremely fine tuned mind. As he moved into more advanced areas of study during his teenage years, specific strengths in both computer sciences as well as dimensional physics began to show themselves more and more strongly. Upon joining the Science Guild, he intended to enjoy a long career researching dimensional theory. However, once his internship with the Guild was finished and he was promoted to Gatherer, the Guild had other plans for him. Deciding his education in such areas was appropriate enough, he was assigned to the Guild's Fleet Section, and, more specifically, to the Explorer-Class Ship: The Falcon's Eye. Since then his name has become one of the most infamous in the Fleet. When he's not discovering new dimensions and universes, he's almost always in the Spacer's Bar and/or in the company of his mate and Captain, Todd Riverden. Rumor has it, he has an extensive collection of books on mainframe hacking, but this has yet to be confirmed (despite the numerous times he's demonstrated far too much skill to not have them). | |
