astral_knight_zero: *looks to his lawer, who says in a really really stuck up kind of voice* [lawyer] "no no....its racism dammit! how can it ONLY be for dragons?! thats an outrage! *while he smiles to himself*

mnememth: *chuckles, grabbing his lawyer, and gesturing him to answer, which he does, calmly and cooly* It isn't racism, as there isn't anything against anyone person... yes, it may be discrimination, however, which society, religion, or any group of people, for that matter... which of these do not discriminate against at least one individual or person? It happens, and those who it affects can live with it, since we all do, everyday....

astral_knight_zero: *knew it was discrimination, just could find the word when he needed it, changes it and gets on with his reply post*

astral_knight_zero: *steps back and lets his lawyer take over, suddenly there being a huge poof of dust and covering their sights, before long being seated in a court o.O* [defendants lawyer] : Discrimination? exactly...and as for which one does not discrimate agains any single type of person has no matter in the process, which is the prohibition of the evidence 'a' *the lawyer points out to the table in front of the judge, which has a little card in a plastic bag which reads 'Growf!'* and the point being that any others such as religion DO NOT prohibit its usage, hence even if they discriminate, they do NOT obliterate its complete usuage, and thus it CAN still be used

mnememth: *smirks smugly, sitting down while his lawyer scoffs openly* *he looks at the 'evidence' for a few seconds, and walks around his table, over to stand beside it.* *with 'feeling'* Your honor..... what the defendant is asking this court to do cannot be allowed to happen! He *gestures* is asking this court to shame itself by giving in, and recognizing a double standard. Yes, people are discriminated against, but it does, and always will happen! Simply because other organizations do not object to 'growf's usage, does not make it right for anyone to do so. The only ones that can condone it's usage are those to whom it belongs to, one such person being my client. *looks back, and nods acknowledgement* As a dragon, he feels that it is his responsibility to defend his kinds' words against outside.... how shall I put it..... usage, will be adequate for now. It is their wishes that it not be used be outsiders, and that wish should be respected. In such a way as me referring to any 'black' person as niger, would most certainly put myself in grevious physical danger, so too would the outside use of this word. What we fight for today, your honor, is only in the best interest of those who would use this word regardless of the dragon's wishes. What you have the power to pass here could save countless lives, and hearts..... *he looks down to the 'growf', pausing all dramatically like* *looks back up, pasion in his voice* Please, for the good of all.... don't allow them to use this word....

astral_knight_zero: *raises a brow at the swaying, or attempt to sway the judge, leaning over to his lawyer and whispering in his ear. his lawyer standing up and movng around his table, and stepping towards the judge, in front of him* I do consider the plaintif's point of view on the matter, your....err, judgeliness....but the facts are being dressed up and presented to you with little bows and decorations, you *looks towards the judge, having a stern voice, though with respect to the judge, trying to get to him using a different approach* you cant let them see the better side of you! theyre trying to make things right by charming theyre way out of it! no, we musnt let them charm you your..highness...if you permit to abide by what they say, its not the lives of many that will be saved, but rather a way to-

mnememth: *his lawyer jumps up* objection!.... the defendant is obviously attempting to do exactly what he is accusing us of! We, however, are presenting the facts..... *he stops, and sits back down, remembering that all he needed or could do was object, and he did.... he's not going to start up again, yet*

astral_knight_zero: - even more losses of lives! think about it...*turns towards the plaintif and points an accusing finger* theyll be the cause for slaughter for the want of equality! *turns back to the judge and looks over him* and surely, theyll remember this case, and the judge aswell, we wouldnt want something like that to stain a perfect record of a judge would we? *takes a few steps around in silence then looks up again* just imagine, my god, another almost civil war type of deal.....*he turns towards the judge and in a more serious voice* cant we all just get along? *sob, moves towards his table again*

mnememth: *his lawyer gets back up again, but stays where he is* I'd simply like to point out, your honor, that the civil war is a US thing, and that Canada has never once fought with itself, on its own grounds, DESPITE the fact that nearly every culture now has people within it that call Canada 'home'..... how do we manage this? Simple, we leave eachother's beliefs and such alone, and respect them. Yes, the outcome of this case can open the door for an almost unjust slaughter of those who do not respect the wishes of my client, and those he represents, but the answer is simple! A ruling in his favor, would be one towards safety for those who would, without such a ruling, use the contested article and thereby be injured.... or... worse... by some dragon vigilates... we must not let it come

The one that we present to you, at this moment is the one that offers the least amount of bloodshed, of hatred between dragons *gestures back to his client* and those few, miguided individuals such as the defendant here *gestures* who would sow the seeds of disfavor between the two, by the misuse of the word! *he remains standing, but is obviously finished*

astral_knight_zero: *his defendant sits up from his chair, staying there to speak* your honor...if i may...the plaintif's reasons for trying to void anyone else the usuage of such word goes against the 'freedom' that the whole world has opted...well most that arent ruled by...*looks towards the plaitif and emphazises* tyrants...*then turns back to the judge* as ive stated before your honor..we musnt allow this little...whim *emphasized again* to be taken seriously....just imagine then! all the courts will be over taken by the plaintif's circle of people...this isnt just a matter on the simple word 'growf' but also as the power that people seek by accomplishing little things! *states then sits back down, that having been his little interval*

mnememth: *his lawyer simply shrugs, and puts it simply* May I cut through all the word-play being done here so far, and simply say that the out come of this case will decide whether or not people will be harmed. We are not fighting so much for the right for one group of individuals to use this, but more for the safety of those who are not in this group, who would use this article regardless. If it is made clear that society frowns upon it's usage by them, then it will help to save them from themselves. Your honor knows that cultural things must always be respected, unless in so doing it harms others. Shouldn't the opposite be true as well? That they should, lest people be harmed? astral_knight_zero: *his lawyer stands up once more, since its just about that little time for the final words. he clears his throat and paces towards the front of the judges desk* Yes...well we know HIS point..*cuts a glance to the plaintif's* and disguising the details as a mere 'salvation' for my clients well being, which thus has nothing to do with the case...*paces towards the people and looks at them, and to the one reading this too* dont just look at the facts *feel* what theyre saying...*looks to his client* is it so wrong to want to share in something such as the exibit 'a'? I mean, what *IS* so wrong about the growf used? is it a curse? no...its use means friendliness...and a good attitude, i dont see the reason why my client should be *emphasizes* refused the right to be able to express himself with such a good felt word...*turns towards the judge* Its not a matter of simply just saving the lives of people, we *should* work together to have these diverse cultures a better understanding of one another! *his voice all, enthusiastic, in a bright sort of way* we should learn that these little things can be solved and our differences cut short....and get along ;_; *sniffles and then recomposes himself, staying silent and those being his final words, looking back at the people and the reader, then glancing at the plaintif and taking his seat*
