Although I've always enjoyed doodling, I have found my true calling for art only in the last years of Comprehensive school and three years of vocational school. In 1992 I offered my comic strips (about my old Teachers) to a newly founded Finnish comic-zine, Myrkky, devoted to bad taste, hairy asses, and toilet humor, thus beginning my comical career! After completing a confectioner's degree, I gained yet another year of drawing experience while serving my time (country) as a conscript! The published comics brought me odd jobs such as freelancing for ToTo Productions, illustrating their own Faunia characters, puzzles for activity books for children and sketching various poses of the tiny flame and electricity-maned Lion-Mascots of 1994 and 2003 Ice Hockey Championships, which were used in ads, posters, and pins! In -93, I was introduced to the Internet and furry fandom by Peter "Skaven" Hajba, and was also rejected from a local School of Arts and Media. In 1995, I was eventually led to one of the World's top three Animation Schools, Ballyfermot Senior College. I graduated among top three in my class, after three years of intensive training. After 2 years of unemployment, I mean - freelancing, I got a job at a local advertising company,Emailcartoon.net, where me and Antti worked for 4 years straight! It specializes in informative and advertising comics. The company expanded into the field of animation and spawned a short-lived sister company, Aboa Animation Studio. I am temporarily laid off since the business has seemed very slow! Must be the Talebans or something... During my free time, I keep myself busy churning out my own comics and other funnies, which seem to be forever displaced by yet some new project I get into, to keep up the skills! My work is published rather irregulary in fanzines such as Genus (in the U.S.) and Myrkky! On these pages, you'll find samples of my work as it has progressed through time, Some were created while in school, some are commissions; the context, although often for commercial purposes, also contains several which I have created just for the pleasure.
