Con Badge Order Form

Here you see a sample of the kind of convention badge I can do for you, using my own character, Snoozeball.

Yes! I am still doing con badge commissions! I have made a few changes to this service lately:

Online payment is now fully operational! You can now pay immediately using either Paypal (wth your Paypal balance or with credit card) or by credit card at Kagi.com!
You now have the option to have your badge delivered to you in one of three ways: by 1st Class US mail, by US priority mail (continental US orders only), or by international air mail.
The basic cost of a badge commission has gone up: from $5.00 US to $7.00 US. This includes 1st class shipping. With priority shipping, the total cost for your commission will be $10.00. Your cost with international shipping will be $12.00 US.
You now have a choice of formats for your badge's design: vertical (taller than wide) or horizontal (wider than tall).
Badges are now machine-laminated.
Having your e-mail address or WWW address included on the badge itself is no longer officially an option. I've learned from experience that it's very difficult to legibly squeeze in that information into the small space of a con badge, especially when I have to draw a background as well. All the same, if you still want me to include that info on the badge, you can still request it in the "Special Instructions" box below.

If you provide your real name, it will be included in a copyright notice on the badge; without your real name, the copyright notice will read simply "© him/herself."

Name and date of the earliest con where you want to wear this badge.

What format would you like your badge to have?

Horizontal: best for head-and-shoulders portraits; also for full-length views if your character is quadrupedal.

Vertical: essential for a standing, full length view if your character is bipedal.

Delivery methods

International orderPlease select this option if you are ordering from outside the USA. Your total charge will be $12.00 US. You will not be charged more than this even if the actual cost of shipping is greater.

Priority mail. Please check this button if you want your badge sent by US priority mail. For orders in the continental USA only. Your charge will be $10.00 US.(If you're in the USA and your zip code happens to start with the numeral 4, then we are so geographically close that there's little point in priority mail. :))

Regular mail. If neither of the above buttons is checked, you will be sent your badge by 1st Class US mail. Your charge will be just $7.00 US.

Character description

What your character is and looks like, how much of him or her I should show, and what I should picture him or her doing. (Copying and pasting your MUCK description is fine, but please remember that those may contain a lot more information than what can normally be included in the limited space a con badge allows. For example: if your MUCK desc includes an elaborate description of the character's tail or the belt he wears, then I probably won't be able to use that data, because the normal format includes just the head and shoulders. If you're interested in a badge size and shape other than the normal one, please include that request in the "Special Instructions" box below.)

Badge Background

Optional. What you want the area around your character's image to look like. This can be a color, a pattern, a logo, your character's house on FurryMUCK, etc. If you don't specify any preference for the background, I will leave the background a plain white.

Special Instructions

Optional. Don't be afraid to make any special requests related to how you want me to do your badge. I will do my best to comply; if I have any problems I will let you know.

How you will be paying:

US Postal money order. The preferred method if you are not paying online, since it eliminates the possibility of a bounced check.

International money order. The preferred method if you are overseas and are not paying online.

US Currency, i.e, cash. Acceptable but not recommended.

By credit card, using the online form at Kagi.com. If this is your preferred method of payment, please complete your payment right away.

Paypal. Recommended mainly for people who are already Paypal members. (If you have to join Paypal right now, your order will take longer.) If you use this method, please pay right away.

Check drawn on a US bank.

IMPORTANT: All checks and money orders should be made out to "Richard I. Wiley," not "Richard de Wylfin." It's just a lot easier to process your payment if you use my legal name.

Before you submit this form, check back over all the fields to be sure they're correct and complete. Then, read this:

Submission of this form will constitute an agreement between me and you that I will send you your badge as requested to the mailing address you give, after you remit the amount of money specified above, in the manner you specified above,. I will need to get your payment within four weeks after I receive this form. If I don't get your payment within four weeks, your order will be voided and you'll have to resubmit it, unless there is some unusual or unexpected delay in the postal mail system. So, if you're ordering through the mail and if you're really interested in getting your badge promptly with a minimum of fuss, I strongly urge you to send in your payment now, without delay, after submitting this form.
