I'm learning bit by bit how to take a doll and turn it into a furry doll. I've heard them called "OOAK's" by those who collect barbies and one of a kinds. Most paints are very fiddly to use on doll bodies, I'm going to continue to experiment with what works best. I'm also hoping to find a self-hardening sculpey for making bits like muzzles and ears and such. My first attempt, a vixen with a molded tail, ears, muzzle, and bits. I'm currently working on making a cheetah doll, then perhaps a squirrel and skunk. One of these days I need to find poseable fluffy tails with wire in the center that I can just staple-gun on, but that's just a dream for now!

Anyone with more experience than I, who can help me find resources, or tips and tricks, I'd appreciate you contacting me for a chat! Thanks!

Here is foxy, her hair needs better styling, it's just an unruly mess! She is posing in a sparkly bikini, I've bought other doll clothes, she looks cute in a green tube dress! The most difficult part about dressing her, is her enlarged bust, and her tail. All clothes must accomodate the tail! She was also made from a doll with flat feet, and this is very rare, there are no flat-feet shoes out there. For now, she goes about barefoot.

I am also working on trying to learn to make my own plushies and beanie babies, but it's not easy! My first attempt came out looking more like a plush mutant, no picture yet. [Be glad of that!]

I'll keep at it though, because one learns by experience, after all.

Soon I hope to show some of the jewelry I've been making over the past year or so, beading, metal work, etc. Once I'm good enough, I'm thinking I might open up a section where one can buy a doll, or order a custom one? If there is any demand for that, not sure. Same with the plushies/beanies and jewelry! Check back in the future!
