I'm a furry--of course, given the location of this page. I wrote a little explanation of furries here.
I live in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
Since I was 3, I would always daydream about being a skunk and never completely got over feeling different and wanting to be something else. I feel as though I was a skunk in a previous life. I found the fandom on Tuesday August 19th at 10:21 PM watching a show on TLC called Animal Imitators where I found others that talked about feeling the same way I did and they called themselves furries.
I used to be very very shy and scared of social situations and have gotten over that for the most part so I really like helping those that are shy like I was to meet new friends and be more comfortable. I'll go talk to the person hiding in the corner looking left out at parties.
I love to meet new furs and hear about how they found the fandom and what attracted them to it. We have a wonderfully diverse and open group of people that are all united by the same idea that touches us all in our own unique way.
I can't draw pretty pictures and don't wrote stories, but I do like poetry. :)
