DOCTOR WHO : Adventures In Time and Space
Doctor Who :
Adventures in Time and Space The Toy Line That Never Was
On rec.arts.drwho, just the other night, someone started a thread about Doctor Who Action Figures - or rather, the lack thereof. A few nice words were tossed around about Dapol and their WHO figures, and how hard it had become to find them since Dapol's factory fire.

The conversation got around to: "If you could design a line of Doctor Who Figures, how would you do it? Which Doctors? Which companions? What playsets and how would the packaging look?"

So, anyway - since I've done both toy design and package design in the past, and I'm a huge Doctor Who Fan (okay, okay, drooling fanboy) I figured, what the hell. I spent an hour brainstorming package design, and today I knocked out the first set of Doctor Who Figure Package designs, from my very own fictional Doctor who Toy Line.

You can find out about the design process here and find out why I designed things as I did.

The contents of this page are UK-Dapol-ware.
If you like them, and you live in the UK, mail me a Dapol Dr.Who figure.
I don't have any. *sniffle*sob* I'm truly deprived.

This charge excludes folks in the USA, as Dapol figures are so expensive over here - and twice as hard to come by. I wish Dapol had an American branch turning out figures, for us over here. But it looks like the following will have to suffice for the time being.

Enjoy!
