"What the heck!?" Sash cried, jumping slightly after the badger had
gone by. "Who the heck is he!?"
"Where did he come from?" Mura asked, turning toward Bune and looking
up slightly at him.
"I dunno... but by the looks of him, he's as strong as FAK..." Bune
responded. He gazed on at the battlefield, straight at the two combatants
looking as if they were about to battle. "...and it looks like he's gonna
fight him too..."
His eyes were blazing. He simply stood, barring FAK from going towards
Bune and the others. His swords were dark from the clouds, ominous and
meanacing. A crash of thunder was heard. Upon this, the badger spoke. "Fighting
people weaker than yourself... I used to know someone like that. You sicken
me..."
"You do not understand, you fool," FAK said, "You have no idea what
you have come up against. You are not 'Ultimate Death'... no one is. I
cannot be killed. I am eternal..."
It began to rain as FAK spoke. The rain went down the badger's trenchcoat
and flowed along the floor, sinking into the cracks and crevices in the
ground. Suddenly the dark badger sprang forward upon FAK. FAK was expecting
something similar to this, so he simply moved to the side and kicked him
as he came. The kick connected with the badger's ribs with a crack, and
the badger flipped around. He carried himself with the force of the blow
and flipped backwards, shooting forward as soon as he could. This time
he stopped and flipped behind FAK; FAK then fliped backwards over the badger
and knocked his legs out from under him. The badger used this force against
him again, and sent a crushing blow upon FAK as he pushed backwards.
The beast flipped backwards and landed with a splash in a nearby puddle;
just as he did this, the dark badger flipped up and stood facing FAK. "You
are a complete fool for doing this," FAK said calmly; "For you have sealed
your own fate..."
It was FAK on the offensive this time. He sprang forward too fast for
the badger and pummeled him with ten times as much speed and power. The
badger shot back under the ferocity of these blows, landing on the ground
with a crash. FAK raised his sword, filled with a burning rage. Suddenly,
a flash of white went adjacent to the badger and smacked FAK's thief sword.
FAK growled and threw the white animal to the side, the bloodlust of battle
filling him. He was barred by a flame coming against him, then a flash
of small magical orbs forced him back. Bullets came at him; he easily moved
back and avoided punishment.
The Freedom Fighters and Rico, Himster, Bune, Mura, Hector and Sash
stood barring FAK from the badger. "You little motherf***er..." Rico said,
"We're your worst nightmare."

They simply attacked. They simply attacked with all their might. Bune
was upon him, slashing wildly. Mura was casting her magic in aid of everyone
and watching them. Rico and Himster had their guns out and shot cooly through
the frenzied meelee. Sonic's speed was in his advantage as he dodged many
of the blowsand saved his friends. Sally had the sword of Acorns against
FAK. With it, she was unbreakable. Tails was aerial, using the air in favor
of himself. As was Bunnie, carrying Antoine for more aerial attacks. Rotor
was strong, however slow.
FAK did not care. He did not care anymore. He took it all. He knew
that avoiding would do no good. The bullets and blades wounded him to no
end. The pain must have been excruciating. But FAK was no normal mobian.
He threw them off, his manner unchanged with all the abuse.
"Aggh...!" Rico yelled, slamming into a nearby tree. Actually, he did
not slam into it... he went straight through it. But he was still undeterred
even with the strength of the blow. He got up and looked around... Sonic
was on the ground near to them. "Sonic... we need everyone else," he said,
reviving him.
"I... I can't leave you people here..."
Rico smiled, in spite of the situation. "And you think I care about
dying? As long as I take that b*tch down..."
"I'm on it...!!" Sonic said, racing away reluctantly. Rico was back
shooting FAK almost as quickly.

The badger cursed himself as he fell towards the ground. Heh ad gotten
them all involved because of his own weakness... ever since the incident,
he couldn't fight as well as he used to. He flipped back up and rushed
at FAK with his swords. He suddenly saw a glow from in front of him...
he was gathering up energy for an attack! It would probably kill them all!
He had to kill FAK first... somehow...

"Huh?!" Sonic said to himself. Some wreckage to his right was moving...
He knew enough to be cautious. He didn't know if it was any of the Artail
people or if it was any of the wildcats caught in the crossfire...
He walked slowly towards the wreckage, his eyes glued upon that one
pile of rubble. Quite suddenly, he ran forwards and used his super speed
to drill through the rubble. And who did he find under there but a young
female fox...
"Who..." Sonic said in surprise.
The foxess groaned in pain. She lifted up her arms and caught onto
some of the rubble in which she was trapped. She pushed up in an effort
to extricate herself from the pile. Sonic saw this and immediately took
her hand and helped her out. She collapsed on the floor with the effort.
"Who... who the hell are you?" She asked.
"Sonic the Hedgehog... just who are YOU?" he asked, putting out his
hand to help her up.
She took it. "Paws Redthir..." She said slowly.

"AAHHHRRR!!" FAK yelled, straining to keep his power under control.
The badger saw this and believed it was the perfect chance to strike...
...he's preoccupied with his powers...
The badger rushed up to FAK. He had both of his swords at the ready.
He raised one instincively to strike. The ground trembled as he got closer
to FAK... The green aura got stronger also. But suddenly... when the badger
raised his swords to strike...
FAK whirled around. His hand was glowing. He laid a coordinated punch
on the badger's chest... the badger shot back from the force of it. He
hit the ground in a shower of huge rocks and a large amount of dust.
FAK looked upon this, panting. For once, he had used a significant
amount of his powers...
But the badger got up nevertheless...
"No... it can't be..." FAK said; "You..."
He had been looking at the badger when he said this... specifically
at his arm.
He points to a small marking on his arm. "It says FAK," he explains
coldly; "I am Ultimate Life."
I look closer. There is a small portion of fur that seems to be freshly
shaved off. The tattoo has the symbok for "fak" in Keragin, language of
the Ancients.
I look at the same spot on my arm. I had not noticed it before... it
has the symbol for "hel" in Keragin.
"Your arm... you are HEL," FAK says.
"Your arm... you are HEL," FAK said.
"You... you..." Hel said, stuttering. "No... I've put it out of my
mind... I forgot about you..."
"You can never forget ULTIMATE LIFE!" FAK said with burning rage.
"Kira..." Hel said, falling to the ground. "Forgive me..."
"Kira...? You... have feelings?" FAK asked, leaving his sudden rage
away. "But you are like me..."
"Feelings... I have them..." Hel said, getting up from the ground.
"...how?" FAK asked. "You cannot... Robotnik told me that I cannot..."
"Robotnik...!!!" Hel said, his voice lifting with rage. "He created
us for destruction...!!!!!"
"He... He..." FAK said, for the first time not sneering at anything
or threatening. "He... did not! You're lying!!!:
"No! I'm...!!!"
Suddenly FAK flew at Hel, this time with renewed valor. "TRAITOR! GOING
AGAINST THE ONE WHO HAS GIVEN YOU A REASON TO LIVE!!!"
Hel went back with the blow... then pushed back up. "YOU KILLED THE
PEOPLE WHO GAVE ME LIFE!" His eyes glowed red. He kicked FAK up into a
pile of rubble nearby. The dust and rock spewed from the pile. "YOU KILLED
THEM! YOU KILLED EVERYTHING!!!" Hel screamed, jumping up towards FAK. Hel
was glowing... glowing red. The ground was shaking... shaking with Hel's
fury!
"Now I... finally get to meet them there!"
Bune turned away towards the others. "Let's get outta here!" They nodded
in response, knowing what Hel was doing...
Bune ran, his tails whirring, holding Mura to get them away quicker.
The glow got a little brighter. Chasms grew up everywhere. Rock and the
flesh of the earth cracked and crumbled. Dirt flew everywhere...
Looking back, he saw Himster and Rico running along behind them. Tails
was in the air carrying Sally, and Bunnie was carrying Antione while flying
above. Rotor ran the fastest Bune had ever seen him run...
But where was...
"Sash!?!" Bune yelled. He looked back and saw her caught in chasms
and chasms behind. Bune put Mura down on the ground. "Mura, you have to
run... I have to get her... You know that I can't leave anyone behind..."
"Bune..." she said; "Please come back..."
She turned away, tears in her eyes. Tails came by and stopped. Bune
whispered something to him, and Tails got her hand and flew off... Bune
flying the other way.
"Now here we go..." Bune yelled, dodging the huge rock and dirt that
threatened his very life. He dropped down into a chasm and dodged the cracks
as he ran on the sides, his tails supporting him as he flew through the
cracks. He got back up to the surface and saw her...
"Bune! Help..!!!" She cried.
Her leg was caught in rock. Its blood flowed through the rock and went
through the cracks and crevices of it...
"No...!!!" He yelled. The energy was so close. There was no time...
he would fail! But he had to... for Mura. He had to come back... He dug
the rock out as quickly as he could, using his sword. Suddenly the rock
gave way and her leg was free! but suddenly... it was too late.
FLASH!!!!
The explosion rocked the terrain as the Cargo Ship flew away... Mura
was at the window. She knew...
Nothing could have survived the explosion...
