No go on that damned bodysuit or head... Now to get working on it... However, Mutant and I made an appearance at AnthroCon 3.
Still haven't gotten my bodysuit done yet... [sigh] But I did have a good time at Duckon8.
I also attended a local convention, Wonderfest, which consisted mostly of figurines and related sci-fi stuff. I did catch a demo of one fellow do a rather good makeup job on three volunteers. If I can find those pics...
Where I'm from, in Louisville, KY, I just had to poke fun a bit at the Derby fever, by making a horse suit with a makeup job. It took me two weeks to make this, as it used some techniques I'd only heard from others, which went over quite nicely. I never went out in public in this, with the exception of my deaf club, as it was so warm in it. However, on the way out there this one day (it was a two day event for us), I did have a carload of guys nearly run off the road after taking a look at me. You should have heard all the jokes that arose from my wearing this.
