Kimono Fox

This was originally intended for the FC 2002 art show, but halfway through I realized the mat would cut off more than I liked, so I set it aside and finished it later. The figure is modeled loosely after a picture in a book on Japanese sewing I checked out from the UA library; the setting is based on my memeory of UIUC's Japan House; and the calligraphy behind her reads "love." Prismacolor markers and colored pencils with Micron pen on Bristol Board.
