Golden Pavilion

Created December 2000

Created using Prismacolor pencils, this Japanese fox has traversed nearly all of the path at the legendary Golden Pavilion in Kyoto, and has paused to rest within view of the temple. Based on my own photo of Ginkaku-ji. I was rather pleased with how the pavilion turned out - it really does glow like that, due to light reflecting off the water.
