Thanks for checking the strip out: It's not quite ready for you yet, regrettably. The strip you currently see is not the actual first strip, but the inked version of a place-holder and sample strip: Think of it as a pilot. I drew this one to see if the folks in my friends list on LiveJournal liked the concept. (Ahh, test groups! Thank you, everyone.)
So, per usual, I'm running late on kicking this into gear. However, with my laptop Lucy dying, and taking everything with it... It was a touch of a setback, and I need to wait on announcing the winners (since Lucy is holding about half the entries into the contest hostage). I hope you'll forgive.
On the bright side, I am using the time to get ahead in the comic, in case I have a case of slackeritis later down the line. |
