A rare dirty SUV. A big moth. A view from where I used to have lunch at my former workplace.

In May I visited the local ghost town again, Drawbridge. Here are some photos. I went with some former friends. It's too bad they've both dropped me out of their life in order not to anger Corey/Amadeus, a rather immature character in their social clique. My fault I suppose for hanging out with people of a high-school social mentality. But it was nice having them as friends while it lasted.

Here's a bunch of grafitti I saw on a train while there.

And here's some final photos. There are also some videos. Throwing rocks into sludge. Foamy junk blown over a trail. Someone trying to slide along encrusted mud, but failing.

Hey look, a huge panoramic stitched view of the approach to Drawbridge from the south.

On the left, cool facades in San Francisco. On the right, a neato sunset and MASSIVE gas station tanks being installed near my parent's house (They had to block the road off).

Various things on the top row: parking lots in the evening, abandoned crashed car I saw at 6am, dall foliage, summer at Sears, a low-rider. Next row: a funny sign, the bay at sunset, freaky Jeep, more evening parking lots, vanity plate, a bridge, a garage. And below, a stitched panorama of east bay viewed from the hills. I got to spend my birthday at the beach with someone nice, so it was nicer than most of my birthdays. Here is a random video I took that day during the ride, blue and pleasant.

My grandmother died at the end of August and so we went to Illiois/Missoura for the funeral. These first nine photos are from the plane ride. There's also a takeoff video.

First two are from a run-down former gas station. I bought a virginia creeper they were selling alongside a motley of various garden plants they had brought from home. The next four are from a salmon hatchery next to a natural spring. The final one is a typical sunset in the midwest. There's also movies. First is sideways, sorry. It's the spring outlet itself. Then a small whirlpool nearby. Finally feeding frenzy 1 and feeding frenzy 2.
