While you wait for the thumbnails to load, get a load of this. All these images are done in pencil crayon, which, despite the misgivings of my high school art teacher, absolutely rock! Prismacolors have never let me down. I've used a bit of computer-generated filler as well. Each image takes between four and ten hours to complete, depending on complexity. I tried to include a core sample of everything I do. These are just pictures; they do not represent ideals other than freedom of expression. I really do love to draw, but drawing is not my life. It's just something fun to do in my spare time. If you have any feedback, comments, or requests, feel free to email me or talk to me online.
I've been drawing seriously for about four years now, starting late in high school. Before that, it was just a bunch of crude RPG illustrations, maps, and backgrounds. I still don't take my stuff very seriously; in fact I don't even sign most of it. However, I like to think that most of my ideas are actually my ideas, the lutrai in particular. They're evolved RPG concepts or daydreams or commissions. I balance all this out with college, the social scene, and my other hobbies, but I'd have to say that art is my favorite.
Instead of selling prints, I've decided to start selling CDs. I have a burner and all the stuff I need to make a good insert, so if you want a full collection of my stuff, which includes old and new material, stories, RPG data, and all the other related information (only a portion of which is available online), I'll burn copies of 'Lutrai Rhythm' on an individual basis. Generally, this means you get the most recent progression; I have no pre-burned CDs sitting around. I charge $25 per CD, and cover the shipping by airmail. I have material to make the CDs onhand, so you won't have to wait more than a week or two. If you're interested, just email me and we'll swap addresses. Pretty simple, huh?
Last of all, I do occasionally take commissions. It all depends on what you want drawn, how much time I have, and if there are other people waiting for commissions already. I don't have a fixed price, but generally the more you're willing to invest, the faster I can get the work done. I've done commissions overnight before (Azure-sk above). I'm also very interested in trading with other artists and authors. Email me if you're interested.
