The Flow

[The following was posted last year on the P-shift Mailing list]

Yes, I had another one. I triggered it again. And I got too excited... again, killing it instantly, but here's what happened with a theory on how I think I got it to work. This one's shorter, I promise!

"The Flow"
October 29, 2000
At Home in Alpine, Ca.

I remember my body gradually became more and more stiff during the day. It got to the point that I was stretching all the time, but I didn't feel tired or fatigued. As I walked around my apartment, it got so bad that my entire body began to ache and so I finally laid down.

I still wasn't tired, so I laid in bed and m-shifted. When I was completely comfortable, I imagined feeling my body change. I concentrated as hard as I could to FEEL the fur, the canine legs and paws, my paws, and so on. After a few moments, I didn't need to focus or concentrate any more and I simply felt it without having to think about it. Kind of like the "Phantom Shift," in which you feel it, but it's not physically there.

Up to this point, I only tried shifting the body. So, I decided to let the canine feeling flow upward and change my face and head. When I let the feeling flow up past my neck, that's when something physical DID happen!

I felt my top right canine begin to slide further out from my gums. There was the feeling that it wasn't falling out, but actually growing longer with the sensation that it was still seated up in there, like... I don't know, like the tooth was becoming wider and longer. There was a sensation in and around where it was seated, but it was so slight that I don't know how to describe it other than it was a feeling of growth. That same sensation began in the other to canine as well, but I only focused on the right one because that's where I felt it the strongest.

It surprised me as I wasn't even thinking about fangs at the time. I was just thinking about my face beginning to push out into a muzzle. I wasn't thinking in great detail about teeth or anything.

I got so excited that I let my mind focus on the real physical sensation in my mouth. This all happened in a matter of a few seconds.

When I did, the fang slipped back in and it seemed to reset itself with a "click!" Again, I was surprised. The gumline did feel like it might have been changing too, but I didn't notice until, possibly, it changed back, if it in fact did. The "click" was obvious, though. I, not only felt but heard the audible click as well.

Needless to say, I lost the m-shift and I just laid there for a while. After thinking about what I did, I decided to just go ahead and take a nap after that. I was satisfied with feeling my body begin to change again and I decided that I'd try again some other time, after I had time to think about what made it happen.

So, far, all I can think about is the fluidity of it. There's something about taking what you feel, focusing on it so strongly that you can FEEL it without having to think about it, taking that energy and then letting it FLOW. Letting it move through you body, changing it as it flows through you.

I believe that by m-shifting, (intensely!) you are harnessing energy and then when you let that energy go within your body, you are letting the change run it's course.
