Ryzentyls can be considered derivitives of Lizard Men, but possessing a higher sense of honor, intelligence, and having a functional and developing society. Adult Ryzentyl's can grow between 5' and 7' in height, sometimes varying off of that in exception, and weighing between 180 and 350 pounds. They can be varying colors, the general rule is that they have a dominant color with another being dotted, striped, or appearing at the extremeties of their bodies. They speak their own language, reptillian languages, and can learn others. They can wear normal clothing, Guard Armor, and various other pieces of ceremonial and combative garb.

Combat: Ryzentyls are believed to have been the creation of a mad Mage who was looking to build himself powerful warriors which he could in defense of himself and his estate. Indeed, the Ryzentyl's have this appearance, with sharp claws, teeth, and a powerful acid spray. The only part of their body that might seem to be moderately useless is the tail, not having prehensile abilities. They use their natural weapons quite effectively, but will use a weapon as honor dictates. They usually will use weapons on creatures not deserving of their claws, picking up a Battle Ax or Bow for long ranges, swords also being a favorite. They attack in groups, usually, and they take pride in their craftiness and abilities in battle. As monsters in their early days, they could attack with claws and bite easily, but have adapted only a claw or bite attack a round. Some can specialize in a swing/claw and a bite every other round, but they must train for this ability.

Habitat/Society: Ryzentyls live in warm, tropical, and moist regions, all of these factors in a region making it favorable for a Ryzentyl town or village. They live in stone/mud houses in the towns, but the larger towns or cities can have stone houses and perhaps even castles for those of higher status. A feudal system is set into place for most of their culture and they have a distinct King/Queen and a set ranking system going down from there. Most of the culture appears to keep away from magic, although a few mages and priests have come out of the woodwork. They are respectful to visitors and other cultures, so long as they do not tread on Ryzentyl territory.

Ecology: Ryzentyls have only one natural enemy, the Troglodyte, who in the past were forced down from the mountains on the island where the Ryzentyls call their "native home" looking for food when it became scarse. Common skirmishes result from the two and this has gone on for generations, making the hatred for the "dirty reptiles" cultural. Usually a fight between a Troglodyte and a prepared Ryzentyl party is laughable, the Ryzentyls usually having the upper advantage in numbers and in technology.

Furry Note: Ryzentyls have discovered a strange "portal" in one of the nearby mountains to Caijohn, the Capitol City, and have sent scouts to go through it and explore the worlds beyond it. Perhaps you will find one ... in your world.
