Credit should be given where credit is due ... I alone could not have
made this website what it is today. I wish to acknowledge those who had a
hand in making this page and assisting me with making my art better from
picture to picture.
I wish to thank Furnation for providing me with the webspace for me to put
up my humble works. Thanks for the site and the wonderful spot amoung other
(struggling or not) artists!
- Daerr and JMac - for being completely honest to me about my artistic
work and offering various amounts of advice to me, even when looking at my
pictures caused their eyes to hurt from time to time.
- Grimal - For assisting me
with learning how to make my images better and how to correct some of the
basic problems that I was having. He has been a constant source of help.
- Kaa - The one whose art
inspired me to try my own hand at drawing humanish/anthro figures and to get
over my "drawing living beings" fear.
- My Patient Beta-Testers - Those of you out there that went to see what
new images I have made and for putting up with me in general. This
includes, but is isn't limited to SlickScale, K'tel, Tassoth, Rangarig, Bob,
Mrrirri, Rayknil, Tyrannix, Corey, Darren, Pathia, Beryl, Mia, Raina, and the tens of
you that come to visit my website everyday.
- Tina - For giving me the go-ahead for bringing the Ryzentyls into
existance in her AD&D game and being supporting of my artistic progress.
And now for something completely different...
We all hate the fine print, and I tried to save it for last, but I feel it is
important for me to express to all of you how I'd like to have my artwork
handled. Please remember, even though it's simple to just click on a few
buttons and have a piece of artwork on your desk or such is quite easy --
but bear in mind that
some of this work I did for any one piece took hours, days, and sometimes
weeks. Please take a minute to consider that I do not get any compensation
currently for my work and do it out of my own self-interest and to share a talent with
others.
Do NOT
- Sell my work. I will consider comissions
and selling prints, but do not print out these works and sell them to your
friends or the general public. I reserve that right to only myself. I wish
to be the only one to profit financially from this.
- Claim my work as your own. Again, I spent a lot of time and effort on
these, and to simply say that you did it is more than just dishonest. Don't
do it.
- Modify my images and then claim it is my work. You changed it. You
altered it. It's no really longer mine. On the same token, it's not really yours
either. If you *need* to change my pic and want to share it with the rest
of the world, please add a "Modified by" line to the credits.
Leave my credit on the image alone.
- Place my image on a archive on CD-ROM or other electronic media and ask for financial compensation to grant others access to my
work. Having a public FTP site with my images is okay. See the DO's to see
what is permitted.
Do
- Feel free to download my images and save them on a local disk.
- Feel free to print out my work to display on your wall, furnature,
T-shirts, etc.
- Feel free to study my works if for some reason you wish to learn
artistic methods from them.
- Feel free to print (free) copies for others if they like them.
... on the condition that you keep all credits and text information about
the name of the image and the name of the author (myself) intact. My works
cannot be used in anyway to gain profit for you or others (in other words,
again, I am the only one who should be able to gain financial or material
profit from my artwork).
This is quite liberal considering the Acceptable Use Policies of other
artists. I ask that you please abide by mine no matter how lenient or
strict you think they are. If there is any question about the
implementation of these rules, ask me before you
do anything.
