We share laughs and tales one last time the adventure is finely over and we lay those days to rest We set aside our gear make our peace and as we share this last time together I almost want to cry But I must be strong for we knew the day would come when we would have to say good bye It seems a lifetime ago we meet as strangers and now we more then friends we are almost family I remember all the good times we shared I hope they mean as much to you as they do to me As I look back and recall all those past glories, it seemed like there was nothing we couldn't do How long have we been together, how many times where you there for me when I needed you? Looking back I always thought those golden days would never end and we would never part Those golden days are behind us but even as we go our separate ways they live on in our heart So do not say good bye and deny we will meet again shed no tears even as our journey draws to an end. Fate bought us together and one day it will again, believe me when I say I'll see you later my old friend. |
