Nintendo 64 Here’s a small list of what I’m playing right now on the Good ol’ N64, and a few descriptions and ratings of each game. Just cause I love you all sooo much :) Games are rated in a number of Stars: 1 being Lousy, and 5 being excellent. Banjo-Tooie: (*****) Another delightful little use of $50 by those crazy folks over in Britain, Rare soft Delivers a Title that excells in almost everyway. and how does it do that you ask? HOW DOES Rare do it??? "My Dear Boy do you ask a fish why it swims? or ask a Bird why it flies? No sirrie you don’t, they do it cause they were born to do it. Just Like Wonka was Born to be a Candyman and you all were born to be wonkerers" Wonkerers.....? An awesome movie Willy Wonka is and the quote implies to Rare too. They make awesome games cause they were born to do it. Ahem......Rare, in this title, delivers to us a 3D platforming game, with lots and LOTS of exploration and the ability to turn into odd characters on every level and included with that are minigames hidden in Everylevel too: from a first person Shooter (and an awesomely done one at that), to silly Kickball Games, bumper car minigames, and a few others. Hey! I haven’t finished it yet, ok? Bite me! At the end of Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo Killed off Gruntilda, in the sequal; Banjo and Kazooie have to fight her again after being resurrected and reduced to a rather Ugly skeleton. and this time they can seperate and you can control Banjo and Kazooie seperatelly. (Which is good news for Banjo, He won’t have Bird Crap in his backpack anymore and, have that strange feeling you get in the Mens room when you think someone is looking over your shoulder watching you tinkle.) If This isn’t a good enough review of the game for ya, then Go out and get it and see how good it is for yourself. Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness: (****) Damn! I just spilled Rootbeer on my pants!........ Ok, that’s all taken care of. and now it’s time for the N64’s second attempt at a Castlevania Game. A Typical Castlevania Game: Lets go hunt Dracula. Yep. That about sums it up for all the systems this series has been on. But low and behold! This one is in 3D and yes friends, It works! It’s playable and it’s Fun. As apposed to the original Castlevania 64 on the N64 this has 4 playable characters and a few new levels to boot :) The camera angle is a bit jerky at times and jumping can be a pain at various locations. which is why this game didn’t get 5 stars. A High Recommendation! If yer fans of the series give it a try :) Of Course in my opinion The best one is "Symphony of the Night" for the playstation, and if you disagree...Then go sell all of your videogames you currently own and take up playing chess, cause if you don’t like this Game you don’t deserve to call yourself a Gamer!!! (Just my opinion of course, not ment as an Insult) Harvest Moon 64: (****) Yet, another little title brought to us my our good friends over in Japan, cause face it. No american would dare think of making a game like this. But Natsume Loves alla us that can appreciate them, and released it over here in the states :) You Kick ass natsume!!! :) This title is defidentally outta there, this is an Overhead RPG, but instead of swords and shields and dungeons with cliche’ scripts about destroying the world. Your weapons are: a Watercan, a Horse, a Hoe (no Not the same ones advertised on pamplets on Las Vegas street corners) Yep, there and many more you find are Gardening tools.Yep this is a Farming RPG, No monsters, no dungeons. Just you, a small town, a run-down farm yer dear ol Gramps left to you after he Croaked, and it’s up to you to (Prepares best Ferengi Voice) "Fix it up and make PROFIT!" I only gave this one 4 stars Because you really need to be a patient Gamer, This isn’t very Exciting! It’s for some odd reason quite addictive, not very pretty on the graphics side, either but the graphics do the Job and rebuilding a farm up from near scratch can feel rather Rewarding :) Now I personally only play this game at night when I’m snuggled in Bed, and relaxing before i get to sleep.... Of course it may be the bottle of Jack daniels I down everynight that helps that too...who knows.
