LIVING ROOM We see a bespectacled boy with a spiky haircut looking at us, against the still backdrop of what looks like a perfectly normal family. BOY Hi, people. I'm Specky, and welcome to a day in my life, I live in a typical suburban family… Just then the camera appears to shake. SPECKY Hey monkey! Stop moving, you've got a camera on your head. We realize we are watching from the POV of a monkey. This will be the POV for the rest of the show. SPECKY Now that's better, this is my mom and my dad you see on the right. A picture perfect American couple is standing still, waving at us.. SPECKY And that's my family dog. In the corner is a lovable dog with big eyes and a tongue hanging out with gratuitous friendliness. Just then the background falls on top of Specky, and we realize it's just a fake. SPECKY Okay, that's my life the way I wished it, this is how it is. Dad is heard off-screen. DAD (o/s) Ahhh! Does anyone here know how to operate my electric shaver for me?
