Who I Am

I used to muck in character much more than I do now, but I still run Fodessa, especially for TS'ing occasions. Ahh, the memories come flooding in as I write this . . . two or three amazing public sex scenes on FurryMUCK, catnip-dealing at my old flat at the Hall of Cats, the other furries I met at places like the Leash and Collar and the Purple Nurple . . . exploring the more obscure places such as Night City . . .

But in the end, due to circumstances having nothing to do with FurryMUCK or FurToonia, much of the joy went out of roleplaying for me. I've never been truly involved in the furry community beyond being a passing tourist; it's not part of how I identify myself, and in the past few years real life has occupied a larger part of the energy that used to go into mucking.

Even so, I haven't given up on mucking, or on the character of Fodessa.

As for why a clouded leopard, well, the fact is that Clouded Leopard is not my totem or my "identity" in any important way, much as I love felids. This actually frees me in a way I would not be if I had chosen to be a wolf; since I don't have to be afraid of remaining true to my "wolf identity", I am free to do as I please with the character of Fodessa, which has been an amusing and pleasant experience.
