Who're you? Don't matter . . .
Just so you know, I do a little bit of everything when I draw. I'm comfortable drawing innocent works as well as erotic ones, and sometimes I even get the urge to draw silly, unrealistic violence. Being a kind of romantic at heart, I try to let that show in some of my more "mature" images, though I'm not afraid of doing cheap stuff now and then (you know how it goes). I'm an equal-opportunity artist, so I draw males and females as I see fit. In case you're wondering, I'm bi, but I retain a strong preference for females (in other words, I'm straight but pathologically open-minded).
I came up with Devio X Schwartz on a whim. Three different whims, to be exact. A few years ago, I was fudging around and coming up with names. One of the names I came up with was uncommonly bizarre and I highly enjoyed it-- Devio Schwartz. Every video game character I could rename then became "Devio." Later on, when I first got my claws on Internet access, I had to come up with a name for my account. All of the sudden it came to me-- I should use the old name I'd been tossing around so much-- Devio Schwartz. I decided to add a twist and make it Devio X. Then I discovered the furry fandom, quite by accident, and instantly I was intrigued (I had always been a fan of anthropomorphic animals). One day I actually decided to make a character on FurryMUCK, so I figured I had better pick a species for myself. It came to me instantly: a dragon. Right then I began thinking about myself and my inherent draconity which apparently led to my quick decision. But enough about that . . .
Cynder Y is a female character much like Devio, half-dragon and all. I came up with her because, well, drawing myself gets boring after a while. I figured there's already a Cynder out there, thus the Y (it also lends itself to an interesting story that I might write someday).
A few of my other hobbies are music, vocal effects, programming, video games, and trivia. I'm 20 right now, and I hope to find an occupation that allows me to put some of my many unusual talents and skills to use. Right now I'm attending Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana pursuing a degree in computer science, so fah!
