Here's my very first pic that I decided was good
enough to show anyone. It's just me standing there,
looking at something not visible in the picture, with a
slightly angry look on my face, while holding up one
finger. Don't ask what it is I'm looking at, or why I've
got one finger up, I don't know why, either. |
 |
Well, I'm fairly proud of this pic. It's nothing
really special, but it came out well and almost realistic-looking.
It's me standing there with a calm, happy look, with my
hands behind my back. I usually use this pic as an
example pic, although I prefer the first pic's wings. Oh
well, I guess you can't have everything. |
 |
This pic was a lot of firsts for me. It's the my
first pic of someone else's character, my first pic of a
female, my first pic of a non-feline, and probably some
more firsts I can't remember now. Anyway, this is a
friend I met on Yiffnet - a great artist, and a great
person, Trixi. In this pic, she is looking at something
not visible on the pic (I have a tendency to do that...),
and looking very happy to see him/her/it. Trixi is ©

Here's my first (and for now, only) colored pic. This
pic is of another friend I met on Yiffnet, also a great
artist and a great person - Kevin J. Dog. In this pic, he's
waving a friendly hello to the viewer. Kevin J. Dog is ©

Low-res thumbnail... oh well. This came out of an off
conversation I had on Yiffnet one night about taking a
few liberties with other people's characters. Kevin wasn't
there at the time, but with his permission, I took a few
liberties with his character, and thus, Cyber Kevin
appeared. Cyber Kevin (Kevin J. Dog) is © Thomas K. Dye. |
Well, some people honored me by drawing my character, and so,
to thank them, I have added this section to display their work.
Enjoy!

This is a pic of me and FireClaw Fox, as done by the
talented Kevin J. Dog (Thomas K. Dye). Great pic, Kevin,
thanks! Darkstripes is © Aaron Douglas (me), FireClaw is
© Robert Douglas, and the artwork is © Thomas K. Dye. |

And here is the version of the above picture afrer
FireClaw Fox colored it. Pardon the thumbnail quality, I
went for speed rather than quality due to all the colors.
Again, Darkstripes is © Aaron Douglas (me), FireClaw is
© Robert Douglas, and the artwork is © Thomas K. Dye. |

FireClaw Fox drew me a while ago, and
here's the pic. Thanks, FireClaw! Darkstripes © Aaron
Douglas (me), Artwork © Robert Douglas. |

As drawn by Chaos Fox--It's me with a very sinister-looking
grin on my face. Diabolical thoughts appear to be going
through my mind... revenge perhaps? Ah... too sweet.
Thanks to Chaos Fox (to whom this artwork is ©, BTW).
Darkstripes, of course, is © Aaron Douglas (me) |

Ever have someone who wouldn't get off your back?
Well, when your best friend is a foot-long dragon, your
head is a more likely target. Ah well, what can you do?
Thanks go to Reddawg for this awesome pic! The artwork is
© Kristin "Reddawg" Sunderhaus; Redstripes,
and Darkstripes (of course) are © Aaron Douglas (me) |

This looks like a job for Darkstripes! Well, maybe...
Anyway, this awe-inspiring pic of the dragontiger before
takeoff was drawn for me by the most excellent DoodLeS,
by request. This art is © DoodLeS, and Darkstripes is
still © me (Aaron Douglas) |

Whoo... I got this one up alot later than I got it...
*blush* sorry, Felissa. Anyway, Felissa was nice enough
to draw both me and Redstripes. She mentioned to me that
I hadn't really described Redstripes much. *chuckle* I
hadn't really given it a whole lot of thought. Anyway, I
personally like this interpretation of him. :)
Darkstripes and Redstripes are both © me (Aaron C.
Douglas), and the artwork is © Felissa.
