Against All Odds
by Cyberwulfe

It was a beautiful clear sunny day near Iron Town. Birds sang in the trees as a gentle breeze rustled the leaves hanging from their branches. An eerie calm filled the town, which was completely emptied of citizens. Some were laying dead on the street, or in piles of rubble that had once been buildings. Some evil fighters had attacked from a red starship that still sat floating in orbit around the planet. The few lives remaining were saved by the efforts of four fighters. The same fighters now stood in a large open clearing outside of the town, ready to fight the strongest of the attacking warriors from the red ship. His name was Zero Tiger, and he'd been ravaging worlds all over the galaxy in his search for the Black Star Dragon Balls. Now that the balls had been used to make a wish, they had shot back into space, awaiting the time when they will be assembled once more.

Rather than simply leave earth alone and start searching for the balls again, Zero Tiger wanted to kill the warriors who had thwarted his search for the balls. They were mostly from earth. Two wolves, RazorWolf and Cyberwulfe, the dragon Ozymandis, and a human fighter named Bror Jace. The four of them stood with Zero Tiger, sizing him up and getting ready to fight. Already, RazorWolf had unsheathed his large GunBlade sword and was ready to do battle with the evil cat. Zero Tiger walked in a slow circle as he glared straight at RazorWolf. The two circled each other for several moments before Zero Tiger finally reached for his belt and unsheathed his immense broad sword. The blade was nine feet long and eight inches wide, weighing over five-hundred pounds. Razor's blade was exactly as it sounded. The GunBlade was a long curved sword that was built into the handle of an automatic pistol. The blade was five inches wide and straight, with a slight curve at the end.

The two fighters circled around once more, eyeing each other. RazorWolf held his sword loosely, pointed down toward the ground, ready to swing in any direction when Zero finally attacked. Zero held his massive blade with one paw, lifting it up to eye level he rested the blade on his other paw, pointing it toward Razor.
"I expect you've gotten stronger since our last battle," Zero finally spoke," So I don't want you to wuss out on me this time."

Razor only chuckled and swung his blade around in a quick smooth movement," Trust me, I'm ready for you. And if I fail, certainly Cyberwulfe can defeat you easily enough."

"I only expect the best from you, RazorWolf. You've been a thorn in my side long enough."

Finally Zero leapt at Razor, taking his pointed blade and swinging it down towards the white wolf. Razor stepped out of the way just in time as the blade came crashing down and slammed into the ground, sending up rocks and bits of debris. Razor leapt back and swung his sword at Zero, who quickly recovered and raised his blade to block the swing. Grinding the blades together, Razor and Zero fought to see who was the strongest, until Razor finally pushed forward and knocked Zero back a few steps, swinging his sword up into a defensive position.

"I'm still faster than you, Zero," Razor smirked," I always have been."

"Speed won't do you any good. Once I connect you'll be nothing but a big chunk of sliced meat," Zero replied, flipping his sword up behind him and gripping it tightly.

Razor lowered his sword to the ground and dropped his arm behind him, the sword pointing backwards. In a lightning quick move, RazorWolf lunged forward, spinning around with his sword reaching out, slicing through the air towards Zero Tiger. Zero jumped back to avoid the slash, but was caught by surprise when Razor came around a second time, slashing once again at Zero. The white cat lifted his sword up and blocked the swing, sending sparks flying everywhere. Swinging his sword up once more, Zero spun it around and clashed against Razor's GunBlade, knocking it sideways. Within a second, Zero had swung his sword around again, grazing Razor's left arm. Razor backflipped and landed several metres away from Zero. He looked at the white fur on his arm as it slowly reddened with blood.

"Hmm, first blood is yours, Zero," Razor mock bowed.

"And the last. I haven't even started to fight," Zero replied.

Razor flashed and disappeared. The real fight had begun. Suddenly appearing behind Zero, RazorWolf swung his sword down onto Zero, who barely moved in time before the blade sliced through the air where he had once stood. Zero swung his broadsword at Razor, who simply blocked it with his GunBlade. The two exchanged blows, clashing their swords together, sending sparks flying in all directions. The other fighters could only watch, knowing this battle was between Razor and Zero alone.

Ozymandis leaned to Cyberwulfe and spoke," Do you think Razor has a chance?"

"I don't know any greater swordsman than Razor," Cyberwulfe replied," He has the strength, he has the ability. I think he'll win."

Ozy nodded and turned his attention towards the fight once more. The two warriors were now standing apart, swords up in defensive positions, both waiting for the other to make the next move. RazorWolf ran towards Zero, raising his sword up to strike. Zero lifted his sword to block the incoming attack when suddenly Razor spun around, his lighter sword swinging underneath Zero's blade and crashing against the red armour that the tiger wore. With a grinding sound, the sword tore through the thick armour plating and stopped just short of the warm flesh underneath. Zero grunted from the impact of the massive swing, and was knocked backwards, a large gash cut out of his chestplate. Razor took a step back and watched the cat regain his balance before attacking once more, slashing and swinging faster and faster, moving too quickly for Zero to counter with his bulky heavy sword. In a lightning fast slash, Razor caught the hilt of Zero's sword and send the massive blade spinning through the air, crashing into the ground several metres away. Zero stood unarmed.

"Very good," he said," Now let's finish it."

"You know I damn well won't attack an unarmed opponent," Razor replied.

"What are you talking about? Kill him!" Bror Jace screamed from where he stood.

Razor just looked over at Jace and sheathed his GunBlade. Sliding the shoulder strap off he slid the sheathed sword off his back and tossed it through the air to Cyberwulfe, who caught it with a surprised look on his face.

"Hold this for me, would you?" Razor asked, without once looking at Cyberwulfe.

"Uh, sure thing," Cyber replied, dumfounded.

"This is what all of our training has been for, Cyber," Razor continued," I won't let myself have any superior advantage over Zero Tiger. I want this to be a fair fight to the end."

Cyber nodded," Alright. Now shut up and beat his ass already!"

Razor smirked a bit and stood in a defensive position, facing Zero, who was slowly approaching, his paws moving quietly across the ground. He stopped just a few feet from RazorWolf and crossed his arms.

"You honestly think you can beat me?" he laughed," All the training in the world won't be able to help you. There isn't anything in the galaxy like what I have become over the past few months. Weeks of psychic meditation, channeling all of my potential into a single moment, holding my most powerful thoughts and energies inside until they were called upon. You have no idea what you're up against."

"Shut up and fight," Razor growled.

Before Zero could say anything more, Razor shot forward with such speed that Zero didn't have a chance to move. He slammed his fist under the tiger's chin, delivering a stunning uppercut that laid Zero out flat on the ground. The three observers gasped out loud and cheered.

"Way to go, Razor!" Ozy called out.

"He's eating dust now!" Cyberwulfe added.

RazorWolf paid them no attention. He knew it would take more than a good shot to defeat the tiger. He was right. Zero simply shook the dust out of his fur and stood up, cricking his neck and sighing before looking towards Razor once more.

"I let you have that one. You won't get another chance like that," Zero smirked.

Razor just chuckled," My goodness, have I bruised your ego so much that you've got brain damage? You know as well as I do that I can move twice as fast as you can. But why don't we stop bitch-slapping each other around and just get it on with, shall we?"

"Very well."

RazorWolf began to charge up his power level, creating a gentle blue energy shroud flaming around him, slowly raising his power level higher, keeping his eyes focused on Zero Tiger. In response, Zero felt the need to show off his strength. Less gentle than RazorWolf, Zero exploded with energy, sending waves of flaming energy shooting in all directions. His muscles bulged and eyes flashed brightly as his energy level skyrocketed past Razor's. Dark clouds formed in the sky and beams of energy shot out of Zero, burning their way through the sky and skimming across the ground, two of them barely missing Cyberwulfe, Ozymandis, and Bror Jace.

"Yikes he's strong," Cyber winced, sensing Zero's power.

"Yeah, I can feel it too," Ozy replied.

Jace just looked on as the two fighters stood apart from each other, charging up their power levels, challenging the other to stop and make the first move. RazorWolf kept his eyes fixed on Zero, keeping his mind focused on the tiger's power level, locking onto it like a targeting computer. He didn't want Zero to get too strong before he stopped charging up. He had to attack him soon before he could get close to his maximum, even though Razor was sure he was the stronger one.

He created a bright ball of energy in front of him and forced it to explode, creating a blinding flash of light. Cyberwulfe covered his eyes, keeping his senses locked on Razor and Zero could he could still "see" what they were doing. RazorWolf leaped into the air and came crashing down onto Zero Tiger, who had been momentarily blinded by the light. Razor's fist connected with the top of his head, knocking him forward slightly. Landing behind the tiger, Razor swung his balled fist around and caught Zero in the side of the head, stunning him slightly. Zero lashed out, swinging his fists at RazorWolf. Razor simply ducked the attacks and swiftly kicked Zero in the legs, tripping him. He landed on the ground with a thump, grunting and cursing. Razor leapt into the air and raised his paws above his head, generating a massive bolt of energy.

"Oh shit guys, get down!" Cyber screamed.

The three fighters ducked for cover as RazorWolf cried out and fired the bolt at Zero Tiger. The beam slammed into the tiger, driving him deep into the ground and suddenly causing a huge explosion, sending rocks and debris flying in all directions. Cyberwulfe held onto a large rock as the force of the blast tugged at him, sending his tail flailing out behind him. When the explosion faded he stood up and made sure Jace and Ozy were alright, brushing the dust and small pieces of rock from his fur. Looking towards Razor, the wolf still remained airborne, floating above the massive cloud of dust where Zero had once lay. The dust cleared to reveal a large crater, several metres deep, with no sign of Zero. Cyberwulfe walked slowly to the edge of the hole and peered down. All he could see at the bottom was a pile of rocks.

"Razor, please don't tell me it was that easy?" he asked.

"I suggest you get back with the others," Razor replied.

Just as the last word left his mouth, a bright beam of light flashed out of the hole. Cyberwulfe stumbled back and ran to where Ozy and Jace stood. The beam shot into the sky, illuminating RazorWolf as he floated. The rocks soon shot out of the hole and into the air with a sound that resembled cracking thunder. Screaming madly, Zero Tiger shot out of the hole at RazorWolf, surrounded in a brilliant red energy flare. Snarling ravenously, Zero swung his fist at Razor, who blocked the incoming attack. The two crashed together, energy shrouds swirling and pulsing violently as the two powerful fighters exchanged blows. Cyberwulfe watched, seeing a side of RazorWolf he'd never seen before. This wasn't the casual fighting wolf he'd trained with, gradually working himself into a serious fight. He'd been fighting serious since he first set eyes on Zero Tiger. He knew they would walk away victorious today.

Zero had always been used to entering to fight, powering up, and either scaring off his opponents or defeating them easily. As their first meeting had been, he found himself hard pressed to even land a glancing blow on RazorWolf. The white wolf had obviously been training hard for the past year, and Zero was starting to wonder if he'd actually have to fight at full strength, which he'd never done before. The look of absolute concentration on the wolf's face showed a well trained and disciplined fighter. Zero hadn't seen that look for a long time.

Razor was also measuring Zero Tiger. There was a difference in the fighter. He was no longer the cocky, arrogant fighter he once was. He knew he was up against a strong confidant foe. Razor almost smiled to himself. Taking away Zero's confidence was his main goal, and he'd done it. All he had to do now was last up against Zero's still untested powers.

He couldn't dwell on such thoughts for long. Zero was steadily increasing his power in the hopes of overpowering RazorWolf. Creating a sudden burst of energy, Zero sent a lightning fast punch into Razor's chest, knocking the air out of the wolf. Taking the advantage, Zero delivered several more punches to Razor's body before swinging his leg around and kicking Razor in the head, sending him crashing towards the ground. He slammed into the earth. Cyberwulfe gasped as he watched the impact, looking up as Zero Tiger laughed, his energy flare bursting and flaming, quite large now and blue in colour. But at the same time, Cyber knew it would take more than a few shots to get Razor down. And he was right.

The ground exploded where Razor had landed. Rocks and debris flew into the air as RazorWolf powered up, increasing his power level close to his maximum. Cyber watched with admiration, seeing his old friend in action again. Fighting alongside him for the first time in ages. RazorWolf just looked up at Zero Tiger from the ground, his energy flare flickering violently as if Razor was standing in a strong wind, the flames licking around his body, glowing red with a radiant blue shimmering around the wolf's body. In a split second, RazorWolf appeared behind Zero and slammed his elbow into his head, sending the tiger flying through the air. Disappearing once more Razor caught Zero with his fist and knocked him back again. Razor continued this attack, knocking Zero around like a rag doll, blood sprayed everywhere and flew towards the earth as Zero's lip and nose were ripped open and bled copiously. Finally Razor caught Zero and gripped his throat, holding him off the ground as he floated in mid air. Zero coughed and spat up blood, hitting Razor in the face. Razor just wiped it away with one paw and slapped Zero hard across the face.

"Where's your witty comeback, Zero?" Razor mocked.

"I'm saving it for later," Zero choked.

"What makes you think there will be a later?"

Zero blinked. RazorWolf let go of him and somersaulted forward, swinging both feet down onto Zero's head, sending him into the ground. RazorWolf followed closely, slamming his fists into the tiger's back, releasing a sickening crack. Flying into the air, Razor charged up another of his powerful blasts, sending it crashing into Zero with a massive blue flurry. The blast was actually made up of several powerful bursts fired in rapid succession. Cyberwulfe and the others braced themselves as the explosions rocked the ground, sending dust and shockwaves through the air. Using one paw to send blast after blast into the ground, Razor lifted one paw and created a massive blue energy ball. It crackled with white energy, surging and flashing with a brilliant white flare.

"Cyber, get the others out of here!" Razor shouted.

"Ok guys, let's jet!" Cyber nodded to Razor and shot into the sky, followed closely by Ozy and Jace.

"This is where it ends, Zero!" Razor cried.

He reached up with both paws and gripped the pulsing energy ball, surrounding it with a red glow before hurling it at the earth. It collided with the limp body of Zero Tiger and exploded in a massive fireball. The shockwave was even enough to knock RazorWolf backwards as he spun and flipped through the air, pushed away from the point of impact. Rocks and small pieces of armour plating flew in all directions and the entire field was set alight in the glow of the powerful attack. Cyberwulfe looked back as he flew and finally stopped, feeling he was safe enough from the explosion. The cloud of dust and fire shot hundreds of feet into the sky. He could just float there and watch, having never seen such a powerful attack before.

He was soon joined by Ozy and Jace, and moments later RazorWolf. The four watched as the cloud of dust was slowly blown away by the slight breeze that blew in off the lake.

"Razor, have you done it?" Ozy asked.

"We'll find out in a minute," Razor replied," I can't sense Zero anymore, but that doesn't mean anything."

Cyber nodded and the four flew down to the edge of the huge crater where Razor's energy ball had exploded. Peering down all they could see was a rough bare surface, filled with dirt and rocks. Many large pieces of rock and earth continued to fall from where they'd been tossed into the sky by the explosion. Pieces of red armoured bits lay scattered about, but there was no sign of Zero anywhere. Jace rested his foot on a small rock and kicked it into the hole, watching it roll and bounce down the steep slope, into the crater.

"Man, nothing could have survived that," he whistled.

"I hope nothing," Ozy added.

RazorWolf peered into the crater as well, probing deep with his senses," Oh... shit..." was all he could say.

"What is it..." Cyber asked.

He was interrupted by a fierce tremor that shook through the ground. Cracks in the earth shot outward from the centre of the crater and split the earth, driving themselves kilometers away from the crater, shattering rocks and mountains in their path. Several of the rocks inside the crater split and shattered, others floated into the air as if driven by some invisible force. Even Bror Jace could sense the massive pulse of energy that surged deep under the crater. Something was getting ready to explode.

"Zero Tiger is..." he whispered.

"He's alive. And pissed as all hell," Razor finished Jace's sentence.

"What happens now?" Cyber asked.

"Now the real fight begins. I think Zero is finished playing and is going to reveal his full and true power to us," Razor replied. He turned to his gray friend," Are you ready to face him? This is really it now, no more playing around."

Cyberwulfe looked into the crater as a sink hole opened up, sucking rocks and dirt into it. He glanced back to Razor," You know I am ready. I've been ready since that day I found out he killed you. I've been training for this day. Whether we win or lose, you and I will fight together to the end."

Razor smiled," With an attitude like that, we'll fight together and win."

Cyber managed a smile in return and stood bravely beside RazorWolf as the ground continued to shake. Black clouds filled the sky and lightning flashed. It seemed like the entire planet was going out of control. More rocks began to loosen themselves from the ground and float into the air. Cracks shot forth and split the earth, the ground shook so violently that Jace almost fell over, but the four warriors managed to hold their footing. Finally the shaking stopped. The boulders fell to the earth and the lightning stopped. All that remained was an eerie calm.

"Here he comes," Razor spoke quietly, revealing what they each already knew.

With a tremendous blast that sent dirt shooting hundreds of feet into the air, Zero Tiger shot out into the sky, screaming wildly, a bright orange flare trailing out behind him like a comet. Cyberwulfe looked up at him as he flew across the sky, flaming and sparking like a phoenix. Turning sharply in mid air, Zero turned and flew back towards the group of fighters that awaited him. RazorWolf could sense his anger and immense power. His eyes glowed white and every fur on his body emanated a flickering red light. Stopping above the fighters, Zero breathed heavily, a look of pure hatred on his face.

"You were right when you said the main event was over," Zero growled menacingly," I've just about had enough of you, RazorWolf. You've been a pain in the ass for the last time."

"Why don't you come down here and do something about it, Zero?" Razor replied.

Zero growled and shot toward RazorWolf, swinging his fists, clawing wildly at the white wolf. Razor remained focused on Zero, dodging and blocking his attacks, grabbing Zero's arm and slamming his fist into Zero's stomach. But Zero didn't even flinch. Razor blinked and jumped back as Zero swung at him again.

"My psychic training protects my body from all sort of pain and suffering," Zero boasted," Your attacks, skilled they may be, won't ever hurt me."

"Everything has a weak spot, Zero," Razor replied," I doubt you can hold up like that forever."

"You're wrong. My training has given me a new level of endurance. I can last for days like this, but I doubt you'll last that long."

Zero charged up a powerful blast and fired it right at RazorWolf. Razor raised his paws and blocked the attack, holding it back with his paws. Zero fed more and more energy into his attack, slowly pushing Razor back until he knocked the wolf right over, flipping him head over heels. The energy blast crashed into Razor, exploding and sending him crashing into a large rock several metres away. Unscathed, Razor climbed up from between the split rock and approached Zero once more.

"I can keep it up as long as you can, Zero. Your new tricks don't hurt me," he spoke.

"Perhaps your friends will disagree," Zero smirked and aimed his paws at Cyberwulfe and Ozymandis.

He fired a huge red blast at the two. Cyberwulfe's eyes widened as the blast came at him. Raising his paws as RazorWolf had, Cyberwulfe blocked the beam. Ozy was at his side in a second, helping Cyber to hold back the attack. Reaching a paw behind him, Cyber balled his fist and punched the beam, sending it flying up into the sky where it curled and flew back towards earth, crashing into the ground and exploding miles away. Cyberwulfe looked up at Zero with a nasty smile on his face.

"Razor and I are almost equal in power. You'll have to do more than that," he taunted.

"Don't underestimate me. I have much more power left in reserve," Zero grinned.

"So show us," Razor spoke," Stop bragging and show us. You always liked to talk, Zero. Talk, talk, talk. Show us your true power and we'll see for ourselves."

"You'll regret those words," Zero grinned, showing off his fangs.

Soaring backwards, Zero landed several metres away from the warriors. Holding his arms out at his sides, he generated a huge flashing red energy flare. Gritting his teeth from the effort, Zero began to power up, charging closer and closer to his maximum. In a brilliant flash, Zero exploded with power, sending a shockwave shooting out in all directions, nearly knocking Cyberwulfe over as Ozy and Bror struggled to stay on their feet. Razor just stood and watched, waiting to see the final stage in Zero's power. The waves of intense energy flowed out in rippling flames, sending dust and small rocks flying through the air. Zero's fur stood on end, electric arcs flickered and sparked through the air, and the flames of Zero's energy shroud burned brighter and grew larger with every second. Suddenly RazorWolf gasped and staggered backwards one step.

"He's even stronger than I once thought," he exclaimed," Much much stronger. I think all that bullshit about his psychic meditation was right."

"But that can only mean one thing," Cyber replied.

"Yeah. We're really in over our heads now," Razor gulped, keeping his eyes focused on Zero.

Finally the tiger stopped. The rumbling ceased and the energy waves flickered and disappeared. All that remained was a bright red flare burning around Zero Tiger. His muscles were huge and bulged under the remains of his tattered red armour. He had an evil grin on his face. A look of pure evil. This was the foe they had trained to fight, and he was primed at his maximum power, ready to smash everything in his way.

"Now, you were saying?" Zero said to Razor.

In a split second, Zero shot at RazorWolf and knocked him backwards with one solid punch. Before Razor could react or defend himself, Zero was pummeling him. Punches, kicks, landing hard on the white wolf. In a flash, Zero landed a bright flash of energy on Razor's chest, knocking him back again, crashing into the side of a nearby cliff. Rocks tumbled down the steep slope and slammed down on top of Razor before he could get up.

Zero laughed maniacally," Is that your best? All your training?"

"RazorWolf!" Cyber cried out.

"He's dead now," Zero scoffed," No one could survive my Death Blast, especially at point blank."

No sooner had the words left Zero's lips than the side of the cliff exploded and RazorWolf shot out from under the rocks. He connected with Zero, sending him flying backwards. Soaring after him like a bullet, Razor swung his fist, aiming for Zero's head. The tiger saw him coming and flipped up quickly, evading the attack and coming down on his pursuer. Razor dodged the blows, blocking and leaping around, punching Zero when he could and taking his hits as well as he possibly could, but Zero was incredibly strong and much faster now. Soon he was once again crashing into the ground, just a few feet from Cyberwulfe. He coughed and stood up, wiping the blood from his lip. He smiled and looked over at Cyberwulfe, winking at him.

"Okay, you fight him," Razor said.

Cyberwulfe nearly jumped out of his skin," You want me to fight him now?"

"Sure. You've been training," Razor replied," You wanted your shot at him. Now's your chance for revenge. Go for it."

Cyberwulfe smirked," Alright. I'll make it look good."

Cyberwulfe took a few steps away from the others and approached Zero, keeping his eyes locked on the glowing tiger as he floated in the air.

"Zero Tiger!" he shouted," I've been waiting for this day. Training hard, day after day for six months for this moment. I've come to avenge the death of my friend, RazorWolf. I'm going to kill you today!"

Zero just laughed," Razor doesn't look dead to me. I think you're a little over zealous. As for killing me today, I think you should go home and train for a few more years. You might have a chance at scratching me then!"

"Don't get cocky yourself. Deep inside me is an immense power. Perhaps fighting you will be the key to unlocking my potential. Until then, let me show you what you're up against."

Flexing his arms, Cyber began to charge up. His feet dug into the ground, splintering it and sending small rocks and dust flying into the air. Crying out, Cyber charged his energy higher and higher, shooting towards his maximum at incredible speed, as he'd been training to do. The moment his power reached eighty million, Cyberwulfe exploded in a brilliant explosion of energy, sending a huge shockwave outwards that knocked back even Zero Tiger, who soon caught himself, watching as the lone gray wolf challenged him. Cyber's hair blew in an invisible breeze as energy surged around and through him. Lighting crackled around him, swirling around him in a spiral, the flames of his energy flare flashing and licking through the air, turning the ground around him black as they burned brightly. Every muscle in his body was filled with new strength, growing in size until they were almost equal in power to Zero's. Finally he reached his full strength and stopped powering up. The energy waves disappeared and all that remained was a brilliant blue energy flare, his fur glowing with a white light.

"Alright, that felt damn good," Cyber smiled up at Zero Tiger.

"It'll be the last pleasant thing you ever feel. I promise a world of pain and suffering from here on," Zero bellowed.

Not wasting a second, Zero shot towards Cyberwulfe and dropped his fists onto the wolf. Flashing quickly, Cyberwulfe smirked and disappeared, appearing behind Zero and smashing his elbow into Zero's back. The tiger gasped for air from the impact and turned to swing at Cyber. The wolf ducked and kicked up with his foot, catching Zero in the throat. Choking once more, Zero grabbed for his throat as Cyberwulfe came at him again, crashing his fists into his face and knocking him back. Chasing after the falling tiger, Cyber generated two small energy bombs and dropped them on Zero. They exploded in a brilliant explosion, lighting up the entire field. RazorWolf watched in admiration. Not only was Cyberwulfe fighting at full strength, he was also focused, determined, and keeping his power in reserve in case he needed it. His speed training was paying off, as he was much faster now than Zero Tiger was.

Zero emerged from the dust, growling and rubbing his nose as it bled once more. His tail twitched with anger and his eyes glowed brightly, flashing with anger and hatred.

"I hope you enjoyed those blows," he snarled," It will be your last."

He leapt at Cyberwulfe once more, claws out, ready to slash and tear at the wolf. Cyberwulfe just smiled and ducked, bringing his fist up hard into the tiger's guts, hearing a satisfying crack as he brushed the rib cage, breaking three ribs in Zero's chest. He slumped to the ground, growling and gurgling, holding his stomach with both paws. Cyberwulfe took a few steps back to admire his work. He'd floored the great warrior with only two blows. Zero coughed and threw up a puddle of blood onto the ground, the rolled onto his side and lay there, gasping for air, gurgling as blood mixed with his lungs.

"You thought it would be so easy, Zero," Cyber said to him," Look at you now. Broken, bleeding, defeated."

"I'll kill you yet," Zero gasped.

"Then why don't you get up and fight me? Go ahead? Why won't you fight back?"

"I can't... because... I'm concentrating..."

"You're what?" Cyber asked.

Cyberwulfe watched as Zero sat up, holding himself upright with his arms. A sickening crackling and snapping inside his body was audible. Right before Cyber's eyes, Zero was fixing his injuries and knitting his bones back together. His gurgled breathing returned to normal and he soon stood upright, grabbing his neck and cricking it, then shook his head side to side.

"So you see, I can regenerate any injury within moments," Zero said," So you can never kill me, no matter how hard you try."

To prove his point, Zero launched himself at Cyberwulfe, delivering a powerful punch to his chest, sending him flying through the air. He flipped head over heels and crashed into the same cliffside that RazorWolf had collided with just minutes earlier, slamming into it and sending dirt flying everywhere. Stumbling out from the cliffside, Cyberwulfe collapsed to his hands and knees and coughed up blood. Wiping his chin, Cyberwulfe got up and began to walk towards Zero.

"As for you, Zero," Cyberwulfe replied," It will take more than that to beat me. So why don't you give me your best shot?"

Growling, Zero flew at Cyberwulfe. Meeting his challenge, Cyber jumped at Zero, locking arms with him as they swung at each other. Flipping, blocking, punching, kicking. Cyber managed to land several hits, but took a few himself. Catching Zero's fists on his paws, Cyber blocked most of the hits, keeping a close watch on the tiger for any tricks, while watching for any open spots. Spinning quickly, Cyber swung his leg into the air and caught Zero across the face. Zero was knocked sideways, but came back with a stunning punch into Cyber's side, winding the wolf. Smirking, Zero balled his fists and slammed them into Cyber's shoulder, sending the wolf crashing into the ground below them. Cyber climbed up from the small hole he'd been smashed into, only to meet Zero as he came crashing down upon him. Reaching up to block the attack, Cyber was caught off guard as Zero came around with his other fist, knocking Cyber backwards, then kicking him hard in the stomach, knocking him down once more.

"I don't want to hear any bitching," Zero laughed," You asked for my best, and I'm giving it to you."

"If that can be called your best," Cyber replied, standing up, though he was starting to feel the brunt of the tiger's attacks. He was starting to feel weaker.

"I think we should team up, Cyberwulfe," Razor spoke up," That new technique we've been working on may come in handy now."

Cyberwulfe smiled and leaped back to stand beside RazorWolf," I agree. Let's flatten his ass."

Crossing their arms in front of them, both wolves concentrated hard and managed to split their bodies in two, creating four powerful fighting wolves. Each of them resembled the original, and was just as strong. The two RazorWolf's joined Cyberwulfe and charged to their maximum power level, surging with energy, their energy flares burning a bright green in colour. The four wolves circled around Zero Tiger, surrounding him. Zero wasn't impressed.

"The more of you there are, the more fun I'll have," Zero laughed," No matter, I will crush them all one by one."

"Don't be too sure," RazorWolf replied," Unlike the old technique used by Piccolo and Krillin years ago, I've perfected this technique. Each of us contains the full power of the original fighter, rather than being split in half with each clone."

"That means it will be four times more difficult to beat us," Cyberwulfe smirked.

"We'll see about that!"

RazorWolf leapt at Zero Tiger, followed closely by his clone. Cyberwulfe and his clone followed suit, surrounding Zero and attacking fiercely. Zero defended himself very well, spinning and blocking the attacks, flying and ducking to dodge incoming blows. It took one quick shot from RazorWolf's clone to knock him sideways, right towards Cyberwulfe, who kicked him hard in the face, sending his head flying backwards towards RazorWolf, who delivered a powerful shot to the back of his skull. Flying towards the ground, Cyberwulfe and his clone followed, pummeling the tiger from behind with small bursts of energy, tearing at the tiger's armour and sending him into the ground. Ganging up on Zero now that he was on the ground, Cyberwulfe and his clone began kicking and punching him, beating him deep into the ground.

Screaming in agony, Zero couldn't take any more and erupted in a gigantic fireball, knocking Cyber and his clone backwards. Before they could recover from the attack, Zero had disappeared and was coming up fast behind them.

"Look out!" Razor cried out.

Cyberwulfe turned quickly to see Zero crash into his clone, knocking him to the ground and fire a deadly blast at the wolf, blasting him into the earth. Turning sharply on Cyberwulfe, Zero launched a barrage of energy missiles, exploding around the gray wolf and knocking him down to the earth again, landing hard on his face. Turning his attention to RazorWolf, Zero launched himself at him. Razor brought his clone beside him and each fired a large beam of energy at the incoming tiger. Zero just turned sharply and evaded the attacks and came up below Razor as he was firing, catching him on the back with his fist and following up close with a hard shot to the clone, knocking him down. Before Razor hit the ground he stopped himself and closed his eyes, crossing his arms once more and split in two, creating a third RazorWolf.

"Razor!" Cyber cried out," How did you do that?"

"This technique can actually create three of yourself, but the third is much weaker. It might be the edge I need."

Cyber nodded and stood up once more. He flew up and floated beside RazorWolf, charging up an energy flare around himself and calling his clone next to him. The five of them once again surrounded Zero and floated in a circle, spinning around and around, slowly getting closer and closer to the tiger before attacking. Spinning around in the opposite direction, Zero deflected blow after blow, evading small energy bombs and beams, ducking fists and kicks thrown his way, blocking, attacking when he could. All five attacked him from one side now, driving him, pushing him down towards the earth. RazorWolf slid between the other four fighters and delivered a power punch that sent Zero crashing down into the earth.

"Now, get him!" Razor cried out.

All five of the attacking fighters reached their paws towards the tiger, laying on the ground, and fired bright beams of red, blue, and green. The ground around Zero was ripped into pieces as the beams collided, tearing away rocks and dirt, exploding, sending tremors thundering through the ground. Cyberwulfe raised his paws above his head and charged up a large energy blast and fired it at the ground, creating a very wide pulsing blue beam of energy, adding more power to the blasts that pummeled and drove Zero Tiger deeper into the ground. Ending the attack, Razor dropped a very large energy bomb into the middle of the barrage. It exploded in a gigantic fireball, sending rocks and dirt flying everywhere, creating another rather large crater. The five floated in mid air, peeping down at the hole where Zero lay buried once more.

"He's getting awfully dirty," Cyber joked.

"I'm not laughing," Razor replied sternly," He's not beaten yet."

"Jeez, nothing stops this guy!"

Zero emerged from the dirt and dusted himself off, then flew right up past the five fighters and came about, crashing into Cyberwulfe, sending him flying towards earth and slamming him into the ground. He punched Cyber's clone, sending him flying into Cyberwulfe, merging them back together once more. He did the same to RazorWolf and his clones.

"You insects!" Zero bellowed," Don't you see you can't beat me! I'm invincible!"

"We'll stop you soon enough," Cyber replied.

"Ozy, Jace!" Razor called to the two fighters who had since only been spectators," Come on, you're up!"

"Alright!" Ozymandis replied.

He and Jace flew at Zero Tiger, throwing punches at the white cat. Jace was soon overpowered and sent crashing to the ground, slumping into a heap and holding his right eye. Ozy, however, was lasting quite longer, grappling with Zero as they exchanged blows, occasionally swinging his sharp bladed tail at Zero. During one such attack, Zero sidestepped the incoming blade and grabbed Ozy's tail, swinging the dragon around in circles before releasing him, sending him flying to the ground and crashing into the earth.

"Ozymandis!" Cyber cried out.

Zero flew down and landed close to Ozy. The dragon stood up and faced Zero once more. Leaping at him and throwing several combinations of attacks, including more tail swipes. Zero blocked or dodged each attack and punched Ozy in the face, breaking his nose. Blood gushed from his nostrils as Ozy toppled and fell backwards. Zero grabbed him and picked him up by the collar of his armoured vest, holding him a foot off the ground.

"And where the hell did you come from?" Zero taunted," How much are they paying you to fight? You know there's no type of bounty on my head, they have no way of paying you."

Ozy coughed," Go to hell, fuck face."

"Perhaps someday, but I'm sure we'll be seeing each other there," Zero replied.

He raised his paw and prepared to blast Ozymandis into a million bits, be he stopped as Ozy began muttering a chant.

"What are you doing now? Praying to some God of yours? How pathetic!"

Ozy just continued chanting, but ended his speech with the words," En kai t'jaah!"

Without warning, Ozy opened his mouth wide and released a massive torrent of flame into Zero's face. Turning and writhing in pain, Zero released Ozy and tripped, landing on the ground. Ozy continued his flaming attack, a thick blast of fire belching from his open jaws, barbecuing Zero. The smell of burned fur and flesh filled the air. Finally Ozy stopped and stood leaning to one side, massaging his broken nose and wiping at it with his fingers. Zero lay on the ground, on fire, not moving.

"Ozy, you never told me you could do that!" Cyber exclaimed.

"Oh for goodness sakes, Cyber," Ozy rolled his eyes," All dragons can breathe fire."

RazorWolf chuckled a little," I'd say we've given Zero a warm welcome."

Zero was not amused. Once the flames died down he stood up. His armour smoldered and fell from his body. Fur singed and burned off in patched all over his body, Zero sizzled and smoked. Steam rose from his burned head. His tail still flickered in anger.

"You'll regret that, dragon," Zero growled.

Raising his paw, Zero charged a massive attack. Before he could fire it, Cyberwulfe phase-shifted and appeared in front of Zero, kicking his arm into the air to deflect the blast. Zero angrily punched Cyber across the face, spinning the wolf sideways, and then grabbed his arm and twisted it, turning him backwards and punching Cyber's arm repeatedly until he heard a snap. Cyber screamed in pain as his arm was broken in two. Gripping it with one paw, Cyberwulfe dropped to his knees and screamed, his broken arm laying limp to one side.

"Cyberwulfe!" Razor cried.

He flew down in front of his friend and stood between him and Zero, staring down the tiger with a look of anger compared to a female bear protecting her cubs.

"This is between you and me now, Zero!" he said," Leave them alone!"

"Oh I'll play with them if I want to, and then you and I can finish this," Zero replied.

"If you touch Cyberwulfe again, I'll kill you with one shot. Even if I have to destroy this planet!"

Zero laughed," I doubt you have the ability to do that. Not with your morals."

"I've done it before, and by God I'll do it again. I'll do anything to kill you."

Zero just laughed again," Alright, Razor, I'll dance with you if you want."

Razor floated into the air and landed far away from Cyberwulfe, with Zero following closely. The two landed several feet apart, staring at each other. Right before his eyes, Razor watched as Zero's skin healed up and his fur grew back in. Razor knew it would take everything he had to defeat the cat. The only way to kill him would be to blow him into a million fiery bits, unable to regenerate his body. Taking a defensive stance, Razor faced Zero, raising his paws in front of him.

"This will only take a few minutes," Zero mocked.

He moved so fast now that Razor had no chance of sensing him. Zero punched Razor hard in the chest, grabbed him by his tunic and pulled him back, closer, and kneed him in the stomach. Gasping for air, Razor swung up at the tiger but missed. Zero was behind him now, kicked him in the back and sent him stumbling forward. Razor swung his leg around in a roundhouse kick, just missing Zero. The tiger slid under Razor's leg, under Razor himself, and swung himself up behind him once more, swinging his fist hard and catching him on the side the head. Razor yelped and grabbed his face. Zero just laughed and picked up RazorWolf, swinging him around before throwing him through the air. RazorWolf slammed into the ground and skidded to a stop just a few feet away from Cyberwulfe. He raised his head slightly and looked at Cyber. He looked so old, defeated. It killed Cyberwulfe to see his friend like this. He always thought that RazorWolf was the strongest. But here he was, met his match, beaten.

"Cyber... help..." he managed to say.

"Razor, my arm is broken. I can't," Cyber replied, shaking his head.

"It's up to you now!" Razor said.

"There's nothing I can do."

Their conversation ended. Zero had been walking towards them and soon stood between the two. He lifted Razor's chin with his boot and laughed down at him.

"So, this is your best defense? Earth never had a chance," Zero said.

Razor just lay on the ground. Zero turned his attention to Cyberwulfe, who was still sitting up, cradling his broken arm. He looked up at Zero, hatred burning in his eyes, a flicker of energy crackled in front of him.

"Look at you, all full of spunk!" Zero mocked," You'd just love to attack me right now, wouldn't you?"

Cyber growled and lunched at Zero Tiger. Zero just stepped out of the way and swatted Cyberwulfe like a fly. He flew through the air and crashed into the ground once more. Yelping in pain he immediately sat up once more and gripped his throbbing arm, which now lay hanging, bleeding, the flesh torn near the elbow. Looking around, there was no sign, no chance of help. Bror Jace was still lying unconscious. Ozymandis stood, still tired, but he was no match for Zero. But he was the only chance they had.

"Ozy..." Cyber cried," Ozy, you have to get out while you can."

"Ah yes, the dragon," Zero said," I still owe you for burning off my beautiful fur!"

Zero raised his finger and shot a pinpoint burst of energy. The thin laser line pierced Ozy's chest and blasted out the other side, shooting right through his armoured vest. Ozy's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open, then he stumbled and fell to the ground, blood streaming from his wound.

"Ozy!" Cyber screamed.

RazorWolf stumbled to his feet and flew to Ozy, picking him up and cradling him, checking his pulse. He shook his head and looked over at Cyberwulfe, who had stood up, his arm dangling at his side.

"He... he's dead," Razor said sadly.

"No! He can't be dead!" Cyberwulfe cried out.

"I'm sorry. He's gone. The blast pierced his heart."

Cyberwulfe began to cry. It was his fault Ozy got messed up in this fight. He invited him to join in the adventure and now he was dead. Bror Jace as well, unconscious, was more than likely to be killed as well. RazorWolf was almost finished fighting, and his own arm was broken. He was unable to fight anymore.

"You call yourselves fighters?" Zero laughed," A real warrior can let his friend go and keep on fighting. You pussies are too weak to call yourselves fighters. You're nothing but weak, emotional, candy-ass faggots!"

"You'll be stopped someday, Zero!" Razor replied," If not by us, then someone else. You're not the strongest in the galaxy."

"I will be once I find those Dragon Balls. With you out of the way, I can steal your ships and make the fastest trip across the galaxy and retrieve the balls within a few weeks."

"No! We can't let him!" Cyber cried.

"Cyber, you have to fight with me now. It's earth's last chance!" Razor called to him.

"I can't fight! My arm is dead!" Cyber began to cry, his tears dripping onto the broken ground.

"Then I will!"

Razor leapt at Zero Tiger once more, but the tiger just raised his paws and blasted him. RazorWolf fought against the blast for as long as he could, but he was sent flying backwards and flipped end over end, landing on his back and skidding across the ground. He lay on his face, motionless. He was done.

"Well that was entertaining. Now I'm going to finish you off, and then your wolfish boyfriend, and then that pathetic human," Zero said. He raised his paw in a similar fashion as when he'd killed Ozymandis.

"You leave him the fuck alone!" Cyberwulfe rose to his feet.

"Got a second wind I see?" Zero lowered his paw.

"All my life I've been pushed around, bullied, harassed, abused. Never again!" Cyberwulfe crackled and flashed with energy," I'm not going to let you kill my friends and destroy earth. It's been my home, and a beautiful place."

Zero turned and put his paws on his hips, amused at Cyber's speech. He just smiled.

"Yes I have been training for months in preparation for this moment, and perhaps it wasn't enough, but I warned you about my hidden power," Cyber continued. The sky grew black as dark clouds swirled around. A sharp sparkle of red energy crackled and flared around Cyberwulfe," First you kill RazorWolf, then you dare to attack earth, destroying cities and killing thousands. And now you have killed my good friend Ozymandis."

"Are you getting anywhere with this?" Zero spat.

"I promised myself I would stop you, and now I promise that Ozymandis will be the very last person you kill! I'm going to defeat you Zero, even if I kill myself in the process. I promise you will never ever kill anyone ever again!" Cyberwulfe shouted.

With these words, Cyberwulfe erupted in a tremendous torrent of energy that flowed from him like a thousand rushing rivers. RazorWolf watched in wonder as a break in the clouds shone bright sunlight down upon Cyberwulfe. He floated off the ground and hovered there, glowing and sparking, sending electric arcs shooting out, zapping the ground and crackling through the air. His eyes glowed white as his energy shroud shrank and flickered around him. His teeth clenched into a horrible snarl, baring his fangs and spitting saliva as he foamed. A swirling ball of energy formed around him, encasing him in a sphere of sparking, crackling blue energy. A swirl of blue flame wrapped its way down his arm, mending the bone and flesh, leaving his arm anew. Gripping his fists tightly, Cyberwulfe curled his arms and knees to his chest, bending his head down, rolling himself into a ball as the energy surrounding the sphere began to flicker and pulse rapidly.

Suddenly, as if they had all been locked inside a sound proof box, all sound ceased. With no warning, Cyberwulfe exploded with energy, sending an extremely powerful shockwave of energy shooting out. The flames of his energy shroud billowed out like gigantic flags, flickering and burning violently around him as he uncurled his body and arched his back, legs apart, arms flexed and at his sides, body burning and surging from the massive amounts of energy that came to him from some unknown source. His hair grew longer, eyes glowed red, clothing ripped and flapped in the breeze of his erupting energy flare. The ground below him broke into pieces and shot into the air, defying gravity as the forces of his transformation split of the surface of the earth. Dust and debris flew in all directions. The flames of his energy shroud flickered and burned bright green and red, outlined with blue. Lightning and energy crackled around him as he screamed and surged in the very centre of the maelstrom. Only RazorWolf could look on and understand what was happening.

"Cyberwulfe, you did it," he spoke quietly to himself," You've become a Super Lupine."

Zero Tiger could not even comprehend what was happening. Another light show, he told himself. But it was no show. Cyberwulfe had achieved the ultimate power, the hidden strength inside himself, and the legendary power of his ancestors. He was a Super Lupine, and now held the power to destroy a galaxy, if he chose to do so. But he had other plans, other ways of using his power. And he had his sights aimed at Zero Tiger. He gained control of his new powers and stared down at Zero with a look of pure burning hatred on his face. Shrugging, Zero fired a large red energy ball at Cyberwulfe. The bomb flickered and dissipated against the surging flames of Cyber's energy flare. Zero gasped in disbelief.

"It's not possible!" he stammered," That was a powerful attack!"

"Your pathetic powers are no match for mine now, Zero," Cyberwulfe said," It's now my turn to send you to a world of pain and suffering."

Within a split second, Cyberwulfe was at ground level, standing right next to Zero. He caught the tiger in the neck with his elbow, sending the cat flipping backwards. Before he even hit the ground, Zero was caught by a powerful kick from Cyberwulfe. He bounced off the ground, skipping like a stone off the surface of a pond, only to be caught by Cyberwulfe once more, who buried his elbow in Zero's stomach. The cat slammed into the ground hard. Cyber landed next to him and kicked him in the ribs. Zero flew through the air once more and smashed into the cliffside, sliding down and landing at the bottom. Cyberwulfe was waiting for him, pummeling him hard in the stomach and chest with his fists. Zero was now bleeding from his eye, lip, and nose. He sputtered and coughed up blood as Cyberwulfe stopped and took a step back.

"This is only the beginning," he said," I'm going to torture you until you die. Until I kill you."

"I'm going to have to dip into my reserves, use the full extension of my powers," Zero replied, wiping his lip," Just watch, I still have a few tricks up my sleeve."

Raising his arm, Zero pushed a few buttons that were on a wristband he'd been wearing. Stepping away from the cliff, Zero looked up towards the sky. His ship was still floating in orbit, and was calculating his position. Locking onto the cat's location, it fired a red beam from it's particle beam cannon. The energy beam flew towards Zero and hit him, but rather than take damage from it, Zero absorbed the power of the beam. Muscles bulging, Zero almost doubled in size and strength. An evil smile crossed his lips as he watched Cyberwulfe's reaction. He wasn't impressed, but was wary of Zero either way.

"Ah, that feels damn good," Zero said once the beam stopped," Now we are about equal in power. I'm going to squash you."

Zero shot at Cyberwulfe, swinging his fist with lighting speed. But Cyberwulfe saw the attack coming and grabbed Zero's fist, crushing it in his paw. Zero screamed and cradled his broken paw, slumping to the ground as Cyberwulfe stood over him.

"You might want to get some ice for that," Cyberwulfe grinned.

"Damn you!" Zero cursed.

With a sickening sound of bones cracking and mending, Zero healed his paw. Standing once more he shook his paw to make sure it was fine, and then launched himself at Cyberwulfe, catching him on the chin and knocking him backwards. Cyberwulfe backflipped and faced Zero, firing a blue energy blast that just barely missed the white cat. Spinning around, Zero slapped Cyber across the face with his tail, knocking him off guard for a moment. Taking the advantage, Zero kicked Cyberwulfe in the face, sending him flying through the air. Soaring up beside him, Zero caught Cyberwulfe and grabbed him tight, flying towards the ground and releasing him at the last second, slamming him into the ground. Cyberwulfe smashed deep into the earth, creating a large hole.

Zero floated above the hole and aimed his paws at it, firing a bright yellow beam of energy, crashing into the hole and causing a huge explosion. Rocks and dust flew everywhere as the beam cut deeper and deeper into the ground. Finally he stopped and eyed the hole he'd created. There was no sign of Cyberwulfe. Suddenly the ground under Zero split and cracked. Cyberwulfe smashed through the ground and flew up, smashing his elbow into Zero's back, knocking him forward. Zero caught himself and swung backward, landing on Cyber's shoulders and wrapping his legs under the wolf's armpits. He punched Cyberwulfe in the head several times before Cyber flung himself forward, throwing Zero from his back.

"Very good," Zero puffed from the effort of fighting," I haven't had an opponent last this long against me in a very long time."

"I can outlast you, Zero," Cyberwulfe replied," There's nowhere to hide, nowhere to run. You're mine now."

"We'll see about that."

Zero exploded with energy and rushed towards the nearby Iron Town. Cyberwulfe burst after him, skimming the ground, sending dust and rocks flying up behind him. Zero Tiger zoomed into town, bursting down the main street, his energy shroud bursting through cars and digging up the street. Cyberwulfe followed closely, until Zero stopped in front of a large building. He turned to face Cyberwulfe, who stopped suddenly and landed on the ground.

"I've got you now," he said.

"Not really," Zero replied.

He turned and smashed his way through the building, dropping an energy bomb that caused the building to collapse. It toppled down towards Cyberwulfe, who raised his paws to catch the incoming structure. Weakened from the blast, the building collided with Cyber's paws and crumbled, burying Cyber in tons of debris. Zero tiger created two more large energy balls and dropped them into the middle of the collapsed building, the explosion sending steel girders and broken glass flying through the air. Out of the explosion, Cyberwulfe flew into the sky, burning with rage and coming fast toward Zero Tiger. The two chased each other through the streets once more. Cyberwulfe grabbed a large fuel tanker truck and hurled it at Zero. The white cat turned and caught it, heaving it high above his head.

"Take this!" Zero went to throw it back at Cyberwulfe.

Seeing the move, Cyber fired a quick burst of energy at the tanker, igniting the fuel inside. The explosion filled the streets, bursting through buildings and barreling down upon Cyberwulfe, who zoomed into the sky to avoid the blast. Zero burst out of the flames and flew down the street, his fur once again singed. Cyberwulfe followed, zapping at him with quick bursts of energy. Zero avoided the blasts and soon exited the city, soaring down a major highway that led towards a mountain. Increasing speed, Cyberwulfe flew directly above Zero, slowly generating a huge energy bomb to drop on the cat. As they approached the mountain, Zero caught sight of a tunnel. Shooting inside, he sped up and burst out the other side. Cyberwulfe dissolved the bomb and entered the tunnel, bursting after Zero.

"You fool!" Zero's voice echoed through the tunnel.

He aimed his paws at the entrance of the tunnel and blasted away the steel and concrete. A huge red explosion burst from the side of the mountain, flames and steel shooting through the tunnel towards Cyberwulfe, who was speeding down through the tunnel.

"Eyah!" Cyber screamed as the flames enveloped him.

With a tremendous shudder, the explosion shot out the other side of the mountain. Bits of rock and steel flew out like missiles, tearing up the highway, causing it to collapse. The damage to the mountain was extensive, and the tunnel supports gave way, sending the entire mountain crashing down, crushing the tunnel with Cyberwulfe still trapped inside. Zero Tiger landed near the entrance of the tunnel he'd destroyed and looked at the wreck. Dust was seeping out of the pile of rocks at the tunnel entrance. Cyberwulfe was buried beneath tons of rocks.

"Well, it's easy to see who the strongest was," Zero laughed and flew away, back towards where RazorWolf and Ozymandis lay.

RazorWolf was fumbling through his pockets for a Senzu Bean, a magical bean that could restore one's strength and heal wounds. Ozy was indeed alive, but barely. RazorWolf knew that the death of his best friend might drive Cyberwulfe to become a Super Lupine, and he was right. Lying to him, telling him that Ozy was dead, worked as planned. Now he had to save Ozy while he had time. Smiling, he pulled the bean from his pocket and popped it into Ozy's mouth, force feeding him. Ozy coughed and sputtered and slowly sat up.

"What happened?" he asked, confused.

"Zero hit you pretty bad, but Cyberwulfe turned into a Super Lupine and right now he's trouncing Zero's ass," Razor replied.

"I'm glad he did," Ozy smiled.

"Don't get your hopes up!" suddenly Zero Tiger arrived," I left that flea bag under a mountain. He's dead, and so are you."

Razor and Ozy just looked at Zero in disbelief. He was tattered and bruised, but otherwise looked fine. Searching the skies for any sign of Cyberwulfe, all Razor could see was the smoke rising from the mountain, not too far away. His heart sank.

"Ozy and I are still fine," Razor licked his paw and could still taste the Senzu Bean. He felt strength and energy flow through him once more," We'll put a stop to you!"

"I doubt that," Zero replied," I'm going to drop a huge bomb on you and destroy the entire planet."

RazorWolf growled. Zero just laughed and raised his paws above his head. A small blue ball appeared and began to steadily grow in size, swirling with red energy within. Razor gasped, and Ozy struggled to get up but was still weakened. The ground began to shake horribly, and even Zero's eyes popped open. The shaking wasn't caused by his energy bomb charge, it was something else. The bomb fizzled and disappeared, and Zero turned his attention towards the mountain. Ozy and Razor looked on as well. RazorWolf smiled.

"I don't think he's dead," Razor said," Just really pissed off."

Zero just stood motionless as the mountain shook. Rocks and other bits of debris crumbled and slid down the side of the mountain, sending an avalanche of sediment towards the base. The tremors grew more violent, knocking Zero over and dropping Ozy and Razor to their backs, riding out the quake as the mountain continued to shake itself apart. Suddenly, in a brilliant flash of light, the mountain exploded into a million fiery pieces. Rocks the size of houses were sent flying through the air. Smaller rocks, stones, dust, trees, and even snow off the top of the mountain, came crashing down around Zero, Razor, and Ozymandis. RazorWolf had just enough strength inside himself to create a shield around him and Ozy. Zero was too stunned by the sight to protect himself, and he was clipped hard by a large rock as it came spinning out of the massive explosion that had torn the mighty mountain apart. He was spun around and fell down in a heap.

Bursting out of the exploding mountain, Cyberwulfe shot into the sky like a bullet. RazorWolf watched, peering into the sky as Cyberwulfe made a sharp turn and came towards where the three lay on the ground. Stopping just above RazorWolf, Cyber landed on the ground between his two friends and the cat he had vowed to kill.

"Ozy, you're alive!" he exclaimed," But I thought you were killed."

"I almost was," Ozy replied," But why don't you pay Zero back for me, ok?"

"No problem. He's almost done anyway!"

RazorWolf just nodded at Cyberwulfe, who turned towards Zero, who was just stumbling to his feet, recovered from the impact of the rock against his skull.

"You only wish I was done!" he bellowed," I have endless energy reserves inside me. No matter how hard you attack, or for how long, I'll keep coming back. And soon you will tire yourself out."

"No one can last forever. And what makes you think I won't just blast you with one shot," Cyber replied.

"Because you can't. You don't have the power."

"Are you willing to put your money where your mouth is?" Cyberwulfe smirked.

"Oh, I like a challenge. Bring it on!"

Cyberwulfe soared through the air and landed a dozen metres away from Zero Tiger. Zero, in turn, flew in the opposite direction, until the two were close to fifty metres apart. RazorWolf, sensing a sudden energy build-up in both of the fighters, grabbed Ozymandis and ran quickly away from the two. He didn't stop until he'd reached the crater of the destroyed mountain. Tucking Ozy safely behind some rocks, he stood out in the open to watch the test of strength.

Already, the two fighters had charged large energy shrouds around their bodies. Zero Tiger had his arms raised above his head, charging a massive red energy ball, while Cyberwulfe stood with his legs apart, eyes focused on Zero Tiger. His paws were pressed together, and he held them to one side, and just a little behind himself.

RazorWolf gasped," He's going to use the Kamehame-ha!"

And he was right. Even as the words left his lips, Cyberwulfe began to charge up the powerful attack. One that had been used for years by the fighters Gokou and Gohan.

"Ka..." he began," Me..."

Zero Tiger watched on, concentrating on his own energy ball, but keeping an eye on Cyberwulfe in case he fired suddenly. His own red ball was just about charged to full power. He just needed a few more seconds.

"Ha... Me..." Cyberwulfe chanted, a bright blue ball flashed in his paws. Crackling white fire and electric arcs burst around the ball, dancing and shifting wildly," HA!"

With the final word HA!, Cyberwulfe thrust his arms forward, firing the powerful Kamehame-ha. The bright blue flaming burst of energy shot out like a bullet towards Zero Tiger. The cat barely charged his attack in time and lowered his paws, throwing his own attack at the incoming blast. The two crashed into each other with an earth-shattering impact. Flames erupted and rocks flew through the air, sending up dust and debris. The entire area for kilometers around flashed brilliantly. Each fighter gritted his teeth together, putting their full strength into their attacks. Cyberwulfe could feel the flow of energy feeding through his body, down his arms, and bursting out from his paws. The bright blue beam of energy flew flashing and thick towards Zero Tiger, impacting with the evil cat's own beam and spinning wildly.

The two beams pushed and wrestled, fighting for dominance as their masters pushed them onward, feeding more and more energy into the attacks. As the strength of the beams increased, the force of the blasts doubled. Rocks and debris began to fly from the ground and surge forward, caught in the current of energy. A great sphere of energy enveloped the two fighters, their beams swirling and flashing inside it. Cyberwulfe's very visible from Razor's vantage point, as was the red beam fired from Zero's paws. Like wild waves on a river's rapids, Cyberwulfe's Kamehame-ha pulsed rapidly, slowly overtaking Zero's beam, pushing the cat backwards very slowly, inch by inch. But Zero fought back. Screaming from the effort, Zero forced his full power into the blast, sending Cyberwulfe's beam backwards considerably. Cyberwulfe saw the red beam cutting through his own and coming towards him. He dug his feet into the ground and pushed harder, driving more and more into his beam. Then he heard a familiar voice in his head. It was RazorWolf, telepathically.

"Cyberwulfe," he spoke," I know you can do it. Just like I trained you."

"I'm trying my best," Cyber replied," His beam is strong!"

"But you are stronger. I can sense your Super Lupine powers and you are not even using half of your strength. Why are you holding back?"

"I... I'm afraid. I don't know what I've become. I don't know what will happen if I use my full strength."

"Shh! Don't worry about me or anyone else. Just finish him. You can do it!"

Cyberwulfe smiled," I know I can. I have the power."

"Do it! Now!"

Cyberwulfe nodded and smiled, taking a step forward and screaming loudly, feeding every ounce of strength into his blast. He soon overpowered Zero's blast, creating a huge wave of energy that swept over the tiger, enveloping his red beam. Zero held his paws out, deflecting the Kamehame-ha as long as possible, looking through the flashing blue light surrounding him and peered towards Cyberwulfe. The wolf was now walking slowly, but steadily, towards him. One arm was extended, firing the energy beam. The other lay at his side. He effortlessly walked, pushing Zero back further and further. Finally Zero's fur began to fall out. His face caught fire and his limbs began to fall apart. The beam was ripping him to shreds.

"Cyberwulfe, finish him now!" Razor cried out.

Howling loudly, Cyberwulfe pushed as hard as he could, smashing through Zero's last defenses. The blue beam of energy smashed into Zero Tiger, ripping away at his flesh and bones as it dragged him through the ground, colliding with a huge rock and exploding. Cyberwulfe held his arm out in front of him to protect himself from the blast as the explosion rocked the earth. Never since the days of Cell had there been such a powerful Kamehame-ha used on the planet, and now it rocked again as never before. When the explosion faded away and the tremors ceased, Cyberwulfe remained standing in the battle scarred field. He powered down. His fur stopped billowing in his energy shroud, hair returned to normal length, and his muscles shrank to their normal size. He was done fighting.

RazorWolf leapt over the boulder he'd been hiding behind and ran towards Cyberwulfe as fast as his legs could carry him. He tackled his friend in a powerful hug, knocking the two of them onto the ground. The rolled over and over until they finally stopped and sat up. RazorWolf was overjoyed, and kissed Cyberwulfe on the cheek. Cyber blushed.

"I knew you could do it!" Razor beamed," You overpowered him. There's not much left for him to regenerate. I'm sure you've killed him."

"I used up all my strength in that attack. I hope I don't have to do that again," Cyber replied, smiling wearily.

"Well I'd say you've earned a vacation, either way..." Razor said, but was cut off suddenly.

A small tremor shook the ground, then faded.

"What was that?" Cyber asked.

The ground shook again, more fiercely this time. The sound of crashing thunder shook underground. The earth split and cracked, sending many deep cracks through the ground towards Cyberwulfe and RazorWolf.

"What's going on?" Razor asked.

A brilliant light shot out of the large hole where the Kamehame-ha had exploded. The tremors increased, the earth shook, and the sky grew black again. Cyberwulfe and RazorWolf sensed the worse was about to come. Zero Tiger was still alive. He'd somehow survived the massive blast and was coming back for more.

"Cyberwulfe, you've got to transform again! Before Zero comes!" Razor cried out.

"Alright!" Cyberwulfe stood up and burst into flames once more, his power level rising faster and faster, driving him closer to his ultimate state. Finally, in a brilliant flash, he changed into a Super Lupine.

Just then, the ground under the crater shifted and Zero Tiger emerged, engulfed in fire and energy. His tattered body was slowly knitting itself back together before their very eyes. He came walking out of the hole and charged at Cyberwulfe, his broken limbs almost flapping in the breeze as he swung wildly, trying to kill Cyberwulfe.

"I've taken enough of your shit!" Zero screamed," Now we finish it! No more fucking around!"

"I'll blow you up over and over if you want," Cyber replied, blocking Zero's attacks," I don't think you can put up with it for much longer."

"Then I'll take this whole planet with me!"

With that, Zero shot off like a rocket, soaring towards the northland, where Cyberwulfe had once spent many years of his life living in the woods of Canada. Cyber chased after him, soon catching up to Zero Tiger just as he reached the Great Lakes. The two of them skimmed over the waters of Lake Michigan, sending waves shooting hundreds of feet into the air. Cyberwulfe tried to shoot Zero down with bolts of energy, but the tiger had become more agile and dodged them. He fired random bursts of energy at cottages and islands, destroying them in fire. Cyberwulfe became enraged and finally took the fight to Zero himself, slamming into the tiger's back and sending him crashing into an island named Wreck Island, home of a sunken ship that had crashed in the late 1800's. Grabbing the tiger's head, Cyberwulfe smashed it into a rock over and over. Finally Zero erupted with energy, sending Cyber flying backwards in the flow. Zero turned and gripped a large pine tree, zapping it with energy, he blew all of the branches off and brandished it like a staff. Cyberwulfe grabbed a nearby oak tree and shaped it into a large spear and faced Zero.

"We'll fight here, to the death!" Zero cried out," I'll skewer you with this tree!"

"You have to catch me first," Cyber replied."
Quick as lightning, Zero swung the tree at Cyberwulfe. Cyber swung his own tree up to block the strike, and thrust the sharp end towards the tiger. Zero moved out of the way and spun around, gripping the tree tightly and swinging it towards Cyberwulfe. Cyber jumped into the air and swung his tree downward, crashing it into Zero's head. Zero was sent into the rocks. He sat up, sputtering and spitting small stones. Cyberwulfe came around again and swung the tree sideways, hitting Zero like a baseball, sending him soaring into the lake where the wreck lay in shallow water.

"You were saying?" Cyber called after him.

Zero emerged from the water, carrying the wreck on his shoulders," Take this!"

He charged with power and hurled the one-hundred twenty foot wreck right at Cyberwulfe. Cyberwulfe dropped his tree and leapt into the air just before the wreck crashed into the rocks, splintering and bursting into a thousand pieces. Cyberwulfe, who had loved snorkeling on the wreck in his younger years, gasped as the old ship was destroyed.

"Zero! I can't believe you did that!" he screamed.

"Aww, don't get all choked up over it. It's just a piece of wood!" Zero replied.

"I loved that old shipwreck!"

"Now it really is ship wrecked," Zero just laughed.

Cyberwulfe screamed again and exploded with energy. He charged at Zero and pummeled him, pounding him in the head and body with fist after fist of powerful attacks. He didn't stop until he'd sent Zero crashing into the ground, skidding violently and stopping up against a large rock face. Cyberwulfe flew down and gripped him tightly, raising his fist to deliver the final punch.

"Please, don't!" Zero cried," Don't kill me!"

"Why shouldn't I?" Cyber growled," You've killed hundreds, thousands. Did you show them any mercy when they begged for their lives."

"I never gave them the chance."

Cyberwulfe growled and head butted Zero. The tiger gasped and slumped down. Cyberwulfe picked him up and slammed him hard against the rock. Zero pressed into the rock. It began to crumble against the force of Cyber's push.

"I should gut your miserable body right here," Cyberwulfe removed the GunBlade from his back and held the tip of the blade against Zero's stomach.

"Go ahead. Kill me. Kill an unarmed fighter. I deserve it, don't I?" Zero laughed at Cyberwulfe.

Cyber growled and punched Zero hard in the stomach. He coughed and collapsed in a heap, gripping his gut. Cyber sheathed his sword and picked Zero up, punching him in the face continuously.

"I should leave you here in shame, defeated," Cyber said.

"Go ahead. I'll just go and kill your friends," Zero replied," And then destroy this planet."

Cyberwulfe just smirked," You won't get far, not with me around. My friends are quite safe, I assure you."

With that, Cyber pushed Zero down to the ground and flew off. Zero growled and flashed with energy. Soaring into the sky he fired a powerful blast at Cyberwulfe. Cyber looked back at the last second and caught the blast, slapping it with his paw and knocking it away. Zero just flew past him and soared off, heading across the Atlantic Ocean. Cyberwulfe followed, keeping as close a possible. Zero seemed bent on doing as much damage as possible before he was defeated. He dropped energy bombs on London, Paris, Berlin, all the time being attacked by Cyberwulfe. Finally they arrived back where the fight had started hours earlier. RazorWolf and Ozymandis were standing in the field, watching as the two fighters collided in mid air, crashing, punching, rolling end over end. Their energy shrouds swirled together violently.

"They're still going at it," Ozy exclaimed.

"Yeah. Zero's got more endurance than I thought," Razor replied," I was sure he'd be dead by now."

"They seem to be evenly matched. I don't know who's going to win this one," Ozy looked down at RazorWolf.

Razor just smiled," Cyber's playing with him. Zero is so weak now that Cyberwulfe could just blast him with one shot if he wanted to. I think he wants Zero to fight to his last ounce of strength before he finishes him off."

Ozy laughed and turned his gaze back towards the fight.

Cyberwulfe landed a solid punch on Zero's face, tossing the tiger's head backwards from the impact. Growling fiercely, Zero retaliated and swung back, slamming his fist into Cyber's stomach. Grabbing Zero's arm, Cyberwulfe pulled the tiger close to him and pounded his stomach with his knee. Zero gripped his guts and hunched over, floating in mid air. He looked up at Cyberwulfe with a look of pure hatred in his eyes. Cyberwulfe just smirked at him and then drifted down to the ground. He stood there, looking up at Zero Tiger.

"Why don't you come down here and we can finish this fight," he shouted," Like men. Swords, skill against skill. Just you and me. No powers. No flying."

Zero growled at him," I accept your challenge." He soared down toward the ground and looked around the damaged field. His sword had long since been buried in the fight. Holding his paw into the air, Zero crackled a red beam into the air. Several metres away the ground cracked and suddenly his sword burst out of the earth and soared towards his waiting paw. He swung it around a few times before facing Cyberwulfe. The wolf slid the GunBlade from his shoulder strap, holding the sheath in his paws.

"Now we'll finish this fight for good," Cyber spoke, pulling the sword slowly from its sheath. The shiny metallic blade glimmered in the sun. He held it out in front of him, pointing the tip at Zero Tiger," Let's dance."

Zero rushed at him, swinging the great broadsword above his head and slamming it down towards Cyberwulfe. Stepping out of the way, Cyberwulfe spun around, slashing at Zero Tiger. Using his sword embedded in the ground, Zero dodged behind it and blocked the attack. Flipping backwards, he ripped the sword from the ground and swung it at Cyberwulfe once more. Cyber blocked the swing, locking their blades together, trying to push Zero backwards. The two dug their feet into the dirt, trying to gain the upper hand. Finally Cyberwulfe lunged forward, pushing Zero over and slashing through the fur on his left shoulder.

"Gahh!" Zero cried out, gripping his bleeding wound.

Cyberwulfe raised his sword and stood over Zero Tiger, ready to strike. Zero's eyes flashed and he raised his paw, firing a beam of energy right into Cyber's face. The blast blinded Cyberwulfe for a moment, causing him to drop his sword and stumble backwards. Grinning widely, Zero gripped his sword and prepared to slice Cyberwulfe in half. The sword cut through the air, whistling sharply until it came in contact with something solid and stopped. It was Cyberwulfe's paw. He'd blocked the sword.

"I thought we agreed, no powers," he growled.

His sword leapt into his paw and he slashed at Zero again, clipping his arm and leg. Zero collapsed to the ground, bleeding profusely. He lay there, cradling his wounded arm, growling softly. Cyberwulfe stood over him with a look of disgust on his face.

"Where's your big words now, Zero?" he chuckled," What happened to the great tiger who was going to destroy the earth? You're nothing now. You've been beaten and now I'm going to leave you here. Remember what happened today. Take your ship and leave, and never return."

Cyberwulfe let his sword clatter to the ground as he turned and started walking back towards where Ozy and RazorWolf stood watching. He powered down, returning to his original body shape and form from the larger more powerful body of a Super Lupine. Zero Tiger sat up, growling, raging, foaming at the mouth. He couldn't believe he'd been beaten. He wouldn't believe it. He snarled fiercely and stumbled to his knees, reaching for the GunBlade that Cyberwulfe had discarded. Welling up all the strength he had left, he leapt into the air and shot straight at Cyberwulfe, screaming wildly.

"Cyber, behind you!" Ozy cried out.

Without turning, Cyberwulfe raised his paw up beside his head. The GunBlade loosened from Zero Tiger's grip and flew to its master. Before Zero could stop his forward momentum, Cyberwulfe caught the blade and turned sharply, swinging the blade up and thrusting it deep into Zero's chest. Zero gasped and his eyes grew wide as the large thick blade penetrated deep into his body, slicing through ribs and heart and lungs. Blood spurted forth, gushing down his chest. Cyberwulfe held his blade steady, hanging Zero on his sword, looking back at the tiger's glaring eyes.

"Gahh! You..." Zero gasped, his voice gurgling in his throat," Y-you..."

"Time to send you to where you sent RazorWolf," Cyberwulfe charged energy into his paws," Enjoy the trip."

Feeding energy into the GunBlade, Cyberwulfe sent a powerful surge into Zero's body. The energy beam exploded outwards from inside Zero's body, disintegrating him and blasting him into a million fiery bits. Blood and gore shot in all directions, splattering Cyberwulfe and just missing RazorWolf and Ozymandis. Cyberwulfe wiped his face and dropped the dripping blade to the ground, then turned back towards his two companions.

"You did it, Cyber!" Ozy exclaimed," You killed Zero Tiger!'

"Yeah," Cyber blinked," But there's still one thing left to do."

Looking into the sky, Cyberwulfe spotted the red frigate. It was nothing more than a small red dot in the sky. Aiming his paws up he fired a tremendous blue beam into the sky. It cut right through the warship, splitting it in two. The two pieces floated in orbit for a few moments before exploding.

"Well I'm glad that's over," he chuckled.

His eyes rolled into his head and he collapsed to the ground.

"Cyberwulfe!" Ozy gasped, rushing to the wolf's side.

Razor stood over him," He's exhausted. It took all of his strength to beat Zero. Come on, let's get him and Bror back to my house."

Cyberwulfe awoke the next day. He'd been cleaned up and lay in bed wearing a pair of soft red boxer shorts. Yawning he slid off the bed and wandered into RazorWolf's main lounge. Razor and Ozy were playing chess.

"We just defeated the biggest asshole in the galaxy and you guys are playing chess?" Cyberwulfe laughed.

"Strategy versus brute force," Ozy said," Razor is much stronger than me, but I'm kicking his ass here."

Cyberwulfe chuckled once more.

"Wait until we go into the sparring room later on. I'll kick your ass good," Razor replied.

Cyber looked at the three black pieces beside Razor's arm, then over at the eight pieces beside Ozy. He smiled softly.

"How is Jace doing? Recovered yet?"

"Yeah, he's fine. But I think his ego was damaged more than anything," Ozy replied, moving a pawn," He's been in the gravity chamber training since he woke up. I think he's still pissed off that Zero Tiger beat him so easily."

"Well he's a problem we won't have to deal with," Razor said," Right now we have more important things to deal with."

"The Dragon Balls," Cyber sighed.

"Exactly. We'll be leaving in three ships the day after tomorrow. I expect the trip will take three months. Then the earth will finally be safe."

Cyberwulfe leaned against the door frame," I guess I should pack my things again."

Always sat inside Razor's courtyard once more, with two smaller ships on either side. Bror Jace was already strapping into his flight harness and readying the fighter jet for takeoff. Armed with his new powers and a Dragon Ball Radar, he was ready to take care of his part of the journey. Ozymandis was to pilot the large red fighter, and Razor and Cyberwulfe would take the Always.

Cyberwulfe hugged his dragon friend before Ozy boarded the ship and it soared into the sky, flanked by Bror's fighter. Cyber smiled as they disappeared. RazorWolf walked down the entry ramp and stood next to Cyberwulfe, resting his paw on the gray wolf's shoulder. Cyber looked back at him.

"I'm proud of you. I knew you could do it," Razor smiled.

"I guess I just needed the right motivation, and the right teacher," Cyber returned the smile.

"Meh, don't call me that. Consider me a friend, with privileges."

Cyber laughed," Oh really? Fine then, maybe I should train you then and try to get you to become a Super Lupine."

"Whatever," Razor poked Cyber's ribs.

The two wolves boarded the ship and it soon rose into the sky in its final quest for the Black Star Dragon Balls.
