Arabian Centauress

This is one of my favorite pictures of 2003. The torso is loosely based on a vintage postcard; the veil is based on one a friend of mine made, and the tassels are from the "costume" worn by Arabian horses in competition. It took me literally hours to draw all the tilework, but I do think it was worth it. Prismacolor markers and colored pencils with Micron pen on Bristol.
