What's bitterly cold in the winter, steamy hot in the summer, overrun by caterpillars and mosquitoes during the pleasant times of the year, and is the home of lots of cool furs? Here's a hint - it's flat. (Really flat. Unbelievably flat.) That's right - Winnipeg!
We are a small group of furry fans - that is, fans of stories and art that features anthropomorphic characters. Did you really enjoy reading Watership Down or The Wind in the Willows? Have you always liked Bugs Bunny or The Lion King? If you do, you might be a furry fan and not know it!
So what do we do? Well, we meet weekly for coffee and general chit-chat in a Winnipeg coffee shop. We participate in furry-themed roleplaying games like Ironclaw, and play furry video games. We have artists and writers and fursuiters in our crowd, and we generally just like to get together for a good time.
