Both are faithful to the GTA games they are based on, with awesome 3D graphics as good as they were on the Xbox/PS2. The 3D GTA games are definitely something I would love to play on a handheld, especially Vice City with its spoof 80s environment. The graphics on both are impressive for a handheld, able to render the cities in detail, even in the distance and with traffic and pedestrians, without chugging or slowing down. Both games come complete with new stories and missions. Nontheless, I still wish they would come out on the Xbox but knowing SONY, who will have an iron grip on the game licenses, it's something we shall never see except on a SONY product.");

From what I see, you can customise your character, select new skills and abilities as you progress. You get a huge range of vehicles nad weapons to choose from and all the usual gameplay modes and a few new ones which look totally awesome. I'm really hope this game will be out on the Xbox 360 as I'm looking forward to having a go at this game. Coming October-November.");

These elite Quake 3 vetrans have put together an awesome video showcasing their spectacular Rocket-jumping skills. With unbelievable timing and precision they launch their rockets, springboard over to land right at the instant of impact (sometimes in chains), hurling themselves across vast distances. The degree of accuracy and control is staggering. Much of the video is slowed down so you don't miss any of the action. Brilliantly mechafilmed and edited with a cool soundtrack, definitely worth watching. 20 minutes duration.");

Apparently it was released in the States for the PC over two months ago but Down Under, we haven't seen hide or hair of it, and there seems to be no sign of it coming out on the Xbox either. If it does surface for the Xbox it will most likely be for the Xbox 360. It seems to have been very quietly released with trailers suddenly appearing for <em>Episode Two</em>, I never even heard of the first one coming out or being reviewed (Then again <em>Half-life 2</em> soundlessly appeared on the shelves too). Turns out that unlike the original game there are going to be three shorter games, each one probably about 5-6 hours gameplay and costing around $40 AUD. I guess this breaks up the wait in between waiting for them to develope the game. Anyway, here's hoping we get it Down Under and on Xbox soon. I'm itching to don my HE suit and heft my crowbar again.");

It was for a PC game called <em>'Stargate - The Alliance'</em>. It seems to be a squad-based first person shooter where you command SG-1 through story-oriented missions, covering a variety of amazing landscapes and fighting hordes of Jaffa warriors - including Anubis and Orsis guards (previously only seen in the movie - complete with mechanical retractable headwear that seemed to have been forgotten in the series). All the voice acting has been done by the SG-1 cast, giving the whole game an authentic look and feel, like you're playing an episode of Stargate SG-1. I was entranced. This looked like it would be an amazing game. But why have I not heard anything about it? The official site has very little to say about anything, especially for a game that was suppose to come out at the end of 2005. Apparently, after several years of development, for reasons unknown, the game was cancelled by its developer Perception. I'm rather disapointed as the brief glimpse showed it to be an awesome looking game, but now it means we will probably never see a Stargate game, especially now that the <em>Stargate SG-1</em> series has been cancelled as well. Such a waste.");

While many of the single-screen games have been revived for the GBA, the two-screen classics have remained elusive. Until now. In Japan, Club Nintendo members can get the <em>Game &amp; Watch Collection</em> for the DS. It includes three games <em>Donkey Kong</em>, <em>Oil Panic</em> and <em>Green House</em>. I couldn't think of a better collection of games to appear on the DS, which looks and feels like a beefed-up two-screen Game &amp; Watch. Be nice if they included some of the original single screen games as well. With the amount of space on a DS cart they could include every single game and still have space left over. Unfortunately, because it seems to be a bonus offer and only in Japan, we poor people of the rest of the world may never get to enjoy the experience of reliving that part of our childhoods. Maybe one day in the future, there will be wider demand for such a game collection and Nintendo will release their Game &amp; Watch collection to the whole world.");
