Humans Description Everyone knows what humans look like, so I won't get into it. Humans are the most numerous civilized animals on the planet Earth. Hybrids Description Hybrids are among the newest species to arrive on the planet. Before the B Toons came into existence, there were no such thing as Hybrids. Even so, scientists scoffed at the notion that a Human and a Toon could have the same basic anatomy to conceive children. This was before B Toons were seriously studied. Now Hybrids are appearing everywhere and reproducing rapidly. Psychical Structure Hybrids are the result of a union between a Toon and a Human. They are most closely related to Humans than Toons, having 95% of Human blood within them. Thus, they look almost entirely Human, but without tails. Their eyes, ears and/or nose vary, depending on the 5% Toon blood. All Hybrids have nipples, as opposed to B Toon males, who do not. All female Hybrids do not develop pubic hair, whereas males do. Mentality Hybrids have the same level of intelligence as a typical Human. Anatomy All Hybrids have the same basic anatomy as a Human, with the exception of the nose and/or eyes. They carry all the known organs and blood. Health Hybrids carry all diseases that afflicts Humans. There are no diseases that affect only Hybrids. Unlike Toons, Hybrids do not recover at a faster rate then Humans because they carry so much more Human blood. Life Expectancy Hybrids have the same average LE as Humans, the females having a slighter edge over males. Senses Hybrids have an advantage over Humans in terms of sight and hearing, but still pales in comparison to B Toons, who have excellent senses. The Human blood in their system have impaired them somewhat but they still can see and hear better than Humans. Society Because Hybrids carry much more Human blood than Toon blood, Humans view them basically as another Human. All Hybrids are allowed to seek employment and all other things that Humans use. They live all over the world and enjoy and healthy lifestyle. They have the same life expectancy as Humans, due to the amount of Human blood in their bodies. Unlike Humans, Hybrids are not prejudiced towards B Toons (but they do not like A Toons) and it is they that usually marry them. Toons While Toons can assume a wide variety of features, they all share the same basic characteristics. Toons are basically animals that take on Human characteristics. They walk and talk like Humans and live among them. ALL animals can be Toons, from the beetle to the giraffe, but it also includes hybrid Toons. It wouldn't be surprising to see a Toon that's part mouse, part hamster walking along the street, but they only constitute 2% of the entire Toon population. There are also Toon vehicles, despite the fact the word 'Toon' usually only means animals. Toons also show a wider variety of expressions (plus they express themselves much more) than Humans, and it is very easy to tell what mood they're in. Currently, there are three classes of Toons, and each class is very different from mentally and psychically. The classes are as follows: A Toons, B Toons, and Toon animals. Here is a list of what ALL Toons, no matter what subspecies they are, have in common: 1) All Toons are based on animals. There are no such thing as Toon humans. 2) All Toon birds, no matter what kind of bird it is, cannot fly. They are strictly grounded. 3) Toons are not real animals like dogs and cats. They may look like dogs and cats, and may sound like dogs and cats, but they do not contract the same diseases (this applies to B Toons only) that dogs and cats can get, but their skeletal structure is different. This means that they only look alike on the outside but they should not be considered as a 'real' animal) Toon Animals Description Toon animals differ widely from their A and B cousins in the fact they do not assume Human characteristics, meaning they do not walk and talk like Humans. Having chosen to stay like animals, their exact origins are unknown. All Toon animals have the same psychical makeup as A Toons, meaning they cannot die or reproduce but have lost the destructive tendencies that arise from them. They talk through their animal language. Dogs bark, birds chirp and etc, etc. It is unproven whether real animals and Toon animals are able to converse/communicate with one another. There are no such Toon animals that take on B Toon characteristics. Toon animals are generally more livelier than your average cat or dog, with the exception of 'house' animals that normally just stay inside the house. Because of this, more and more of them are being used as pets and companions. Advantages and disadvantages to keeping a Toon animal are as follows: Advantages of keeping a Toon animal 1) They are more livelier an robust than real animals. 2) Because they take on A Toon characteristics, they will not grow old, get sick, or die some day. Plus, they do not carry any destructive tendencies that A Toons seem to have. 3) Nothing can hurt your pet if danger should happen to befall him or her. 4) They will understand exactly what you are saying, although they cannot talk back to you. Unlike real animals, they are much easier to train. 5) Toons cannot contract fleas so essentially, they are flea-free. Disadvantages of keeping a Toon animal 1) Some people insist that real animals are much better pets. Some people do not like any Toons at all. 2) Some Toon animals do not like to live with a Human family. They prefer families comprised of Toons and/or Hybrids. Make sure the pet likes you before taking him or her home with you. 3) They need the same amount of care as a real animal in regards to grooming, feeding, housing and a lot of TLC (Tender Loving Care) 4) Despite the fact they cannot die, it will feel a little unnerving if Fido got his head chopped off with an axe and got lost in the yard. You must find the missing head to reattach it back to the body, but in the meantime, you have to get used to a headless dog running around your house, bumping into the walls because Fido can't see. Life Expectancy Toon animals are invincible. They cannot die and they cannot grow old. They stay the same age forever, unless one turns into a B Toon (more on this later). At the present time, there is no known way to kill an A Toon. Dip (as seen in the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) does -not- exist. A Toons cannot be killed. At least, not yet. A Toons History Although the origins of A Toons still remain a mystery even today, the majority of scientists agree that they were the results of the beginning of animation. When big screen animated movies grew larger and larger, animators sworn they had seen some of their characters suddenly 'leap' from the papers and into real life. However, HOW they were able to do that has not yet been determined. Some people believe A Toons are actually aliens, or aliens made them come to life. If aliens DID bring them to life, what reason could they possibly have for performing the act, and what could they have gained from it? No one knows. A Toons have been around since the 1920's, when animation started to take hold in the cinema. In addition, Toons have very distinct expressions. It is much easier to tell what he/she is feeling than Humans in regards to happiness, sadness, madness and others. Description At first glance, A and B Toons look alike. It's easy to tell an American Human from an Indian Human, so how can you tell the difference between an A Toon and a B Toon? Here is a low down on what a typical A Toon would look like upon first viewing: 1) All A Toons have THREE fingers and ONE thumb on each hand, bringing a total of 8. The reason they only have 4 fingers each was due in part to the animators, who felt that a character with only 4 fingers would be easier to draw than a normal 5 fingered one. 2) If you can't see his/her hands, take a look at the pants. The majority of A Toons do not wear pants or anything else covering the legs. They seem to be quite comfortable in this fashion and a shirt is good enough for them, but some don't even wear shirts either. Only a select few wear shirts AND pants. 3) ALL A Toons do not wear any shoes. 4) ALL A Toons do not have any skin or hair like Humans. They are covered with fur, scales or feathers 5) ALL A Toons cannot get hurt. If they do, the pain lasts for only a few seconds. Pain is not prolonged. Psychical Structure Partly due to the animator's fondness for defying psychics and the law of gravity, we now have Toons performing the exact same things. They are able to accomplish impossible feats, such as walking on the ceiling and pulling out an airplane from their back pocket. They actually have the ability to nuke everyone else if they ever pull out a nuclear bomb, but the fact never comes across in their minds, due to their low intelligence. A Toons do not have the ability to reproduce, due to several reasons: 1)The majority of A Toons do not like the concept of romance and love. To most, they consider it icky stuff, to put it bluntly. Male Toons might go run after any female (any species) they see, but they are only doing it for fun. The word 'love' never forms in their heads when they go about their chasing spree. Female Toons sometimes give chase too, but it isn't often. 2) Even if a few of them DID fall in love with someone, which is pretty unlikely, they have no means to bear children. All A Toons lack reproductive organs. Mentality To put it simply, the mind of a typical A Toon is well...not all up there. It's not to say ALL A Toons are like that, but most are. To Humans, A Toons are "crazy, wild, hyper, and destructive." Well, they are right. A Toons are much wilder than their B Toon cousins. They have no sense of right and wrong and are oblivious to the carnage they're making. They adopt a carefree 'street savoir faire' style, partly because of their immortality (more on this later). If nothing can happen to them, they tend to do whatever they want, which is mostly dangerous stuff, without fear of any repercussions, but Humans, Hybrids and other Toons should take caution in the presence of an A Toon. Communication A Toons cannot make animal sounds like B Toons. If they do, it is an imitation sound that Humans make. A Toons cannot communicate with real animals. Anatomy Strictly speaking, A Toons have the same basic organs like Humans, but they have no blood. If you cut off a Toon's arm, you won't see anything inside, even though there ARE some things inside. Everything except blood, as explained earlier. Taking out an organ won't kill them either. If a Toon should have his heart fall out, he'd just pick it up and squish it back inside. Life Expectancy A Toons are invincible. Society Universally regarded as chaotic, crazy and unpredictable, the majority of Humans tend to regard them as pests. Not only are they are a nuisance, but also they are extremely dangerous to others. They do not seem to be concerned about the well-being of others, partly because they themselves cannot die. A Toons are not allowed to do anything of note in most cities, except to star in cartoons. A Toons cannot be killed or hurt in any way, which makes them hard to get rid of. B Toons History B Toons are a relatively new species when compared to A Toons and are vastly different to their cousins, although they share the same basic psychical structure. All B Toons are animals that walk and talk like Humans. There are no B Toon animals or inanimate objects. Like A Toons, the origins of the B Toon is obscure. A Toons cannot reproduce, so how could B Toons have come about? Some scientists believe that a few A Toons can somehow change into B Toons (more on this later), and there have been cases verifying this, but how does the change come about? No one knows for sure. Now most B Toons are born in the same way as Humans, but there is a small percentage that are 'born' from an A Toon. B Toons are more complex psychologically. More of this later. Description A Toons and B Toons look similar, so how can you tell the difference between the two? Here is a low down on what a typical B Toon would look like upon first viewing: 1) ALL B Toons have four fingers and one thumb on each hand, bringing a total of 10. 2) ALL B Toons wear a top AND pants. 3) ALL B Toons do not have any skin like Humans. They are covered with fur, scales or feathers 4) Where law requires it, Toons wear shoes, but generally they do not wear any. 5)All B Toons age and endure prolonged pain like Humans, but they recover at a much faster rate. 6) All B Toon males do not have nipples. All B Toon females do. 7) All B Toons do not develop pubic hair. 8) Toons do not shed Psychical Structure Compared to A Toons, B Toons are more 'down to earth.' They lack the ability to perform impossible feats, unlike their A Toon cousins. Scientists call them 'almost Human,' because they are just like Humans, except for their Toon looks. Unlike A Toons, B Toons have the ability to reproduce, due to the following reasons: 1) ALL B Toons have their reproductive organs intact, and breed the same way Humans do (More of this later). 2) More and more B Toons are rearing families and whatnot, which indicates they know the concept of love and romance and are getting married. Mentality B Toons have lost the destructive and hyper tendencies that A Toons have. You will never see one trying to drop an anvil on you, for example, since they have no means to do so. They have, on par, the same level of intelligence as Humans, being able to think rationally for themselves. Communication B Toons speak the same languages we do, but they can also make sounds from the animals they represent. For example, Toon lions roar, dogs bark, cats meow and so on. If a Toon is a hybrid, they can make sounds from each animal. Not all Toons will make animal noises, however. All of them can, but they may not want to. However, their form of animal communication is different than real animals. They are unable to communicate (or to understand) with each other. Society B Toons have been suffering from the prejudice Humans have towards Toons, mainly from the crazy antics of their A Toon cousins. Because of this, they resent A Toons and blames them for all the trouble they caused. They do not even trust Toon vehicles (all Toon objects cannot die). Although B Toons have not done any crazy things so far, Humans are ignorant and still refuse to believe that any good could come to them. B Toons are generally not allowed to work, but some are, and the number is growing. There are Humans who do care about them. B Toons are, however, fighting to be accepted. There are very few B Toon criminals. B TOON PSYCHOLOGY When scientists began to seriously study B Toons when more and more of them became common, they discovered that they are a very complex species. It doesn't affect all B Toons, but most of them. A book was eventually published detailing the findings. Knowing about them will make you understand what they need and want. This is especially useful if one is living in your household or you are married to one. None of what you will read here deal with females. Unless otherwise noted, everything applies to the male of the species. Male Toons are more likely to attack than the females, and even their undying loyalty can lead to casulties that could've been prevented. Females of any species seem to have a soothing effect on them and will cause them to change their minds. Mating Season Like animals, B Toons have a mating season 2 times a year in the first week of May and in the first week of October. Never use the word 'sex' in exchange for 'mating,' because B Toons have often been described as upright animals, although they are not real animals are all. Mating season doesn't affect all Toons. It goes like this: If a Toon never mated at all throughout their entire lives, they will not be affected by the mating season. They will not feel any urges whatsoever. Once a Toon has mated, they will experience the season from then on, unless... ...they do not continue to mate at future seasons. If they have not mated again for at least a year after the first mating, any such urges will then cease less and less, and the Toon will have to mate again in order to experience the season. Thus, mating season only affects Toons who mate often. The less often they mate, the less often the urges will continue, until it is wiped out altogether. Despite the fact that there is a such a season, Toons are able to mate at any time of the year. They will only feel such urges during and ONLY during mating season. Procedures When mating season comes around, and the Toon has mated before, he will start feeling pretty weird. He will grow quieter, and will spend more time sniffing the air. They will do this more often in bed. When he feels the time is right, he will approach any female that's old enough (can be any species) and attempts to reach her neck, where he will proceed to lick at the throat and face. The reason for this is unknown. If the female does not intervene, he will signal his readiness to mate by nipping the back of her neck. The nip is sharp and painful, but he will start licking at the region to calm down the female. Keep in mind that he will do this at any place and any time. If a female is confronted by a male, she can do several things to ward him off: 1) Say 'no' in a firm voice. Most Toons won't bother with a female who doesn't wish to mate and will leave her alone, but some are more persistent than others. If the tactic does not work... 2) ...show displeasure by giving the most angry look at him. The sight of an angry woman will deter most Toons, but....some are just more persistent than others. If the tactic does not work... 3) ...hit him as hard as you can. Toons dislike getting hurt and will leave after that. Some people might think it cruel to hit someone, but it never fails. Plus, in doing so, it will usually deter the same Toon from trying to get the same person again. The following info only applies to Toons that is a dog, or any member of the dog family, like the wolf or the dingo. In animals, all members of the canine family go into a 'tie' when mating. Due to the structure of the penis bone, when the male mounts the female, the base of the penis swells or expands, thereby 'locking' the two animals together. The male will then twist around and stand tail to tail (they are still connected) and waits. After about half an hour to an hour, the tie is broken and the animals are free to separate. No other animals exhibit this behaviour. This applies to the Toons too. In cases where the Toon is a hybrid (part dog, part something else), they may or may not go into a tie, depending on how much dog blood is in their system. During mating season, Toons will try to mate as much as possible with as many females as possible. If they do not mate during the entire one week season, they will start growing restless and try to stop their urges if possible. If it is too extreme, they will start to mount things like a normal dog. For this reason, most wives [of Toons] keep them inside the house for the entire week so they don't wander around to wreck havoc upon innocents. Love B Toons are sociable creatures. They require comfort and love from a female companion. Some Toons are able to get by without ever seeing a female, but they account for only 40% of the population. Generally, Toons love to be snuggled, rubbed and hugged. They would like nothing better than to be cuddled by their loved ones. Despite the fact that some Toons can get by without marrying, it is true that all B Toons are fiercely loyal to their family (if any). Toons never marry anyone they do not care for, and by nature, they will become loyal guardians to the family. This fact makes them dangerous to toy around with. Toons have a vast array of natural weapons, be in claw, horns or hooves, depending on which animal they are, in order to defeat their foes and it will not bode well if they should happen to spy anyone who threatens their family. Armed with an instinct only to protect, Toons do not care for their own personal safety. They will not stop until he knows they are safe from harm. They also have more energy. Even Toons that are on the brink of death might find the energy to attack again if possible. It is assuring to know that it is much safer if a B Toon is part of a family than without one. B Toons are very affectionate suckers. A contented and happy Toon will greet his wife (if any) with lots of snuggles and licks and any sounds that pertain to contentment, like purring for a cat. Due to their animal nature, Toons lick much more than kissing. Although they can kiss, they do it less often. Some Toons cannot kiss at all, depending on their facial structure. For example, a crocodile wouldn't be able to kiss, due to his long snout. On the contrary, a sad Toon will lower his tail. The lower they lower their tails, the sadder they are. This also applies to the ears. Above all, Toons view their wives (if any) as the head honcho of the family. They will do whatever it takes to please them either through gifts, though lots and lots of affection, or both. Because they are able to give them all the love and affection they need to maintain a happy lifestyle, Toons will be absolutely heartbroken if she would ever leave him (through divorce or other means) or die. It is especially hard for Toons to love another woman should some terrible ordeal render him alone. A small percentage of Toons will experience a nervous breakdown and commit suicide so they can be together. Toons are a one-man species, meaning they will only attach themselves to a specific member of the household. It is mainly their female companion. They will -never- cheat on their wives, girlfriends, fiancées, and etc, etc. The main drive of an animal is to propagate their species and to survive. Toons are the exact same things. To accomplish their goals, they will go after any available female during mating season (if they have mated before) but can be warded off. See 'mating season' above. Therefore, there are -no- such thing as gay or lesbian Toons. Although Toons can get married to other Toons, it is more common to be married to a Hybrid. More Toons and Hybrids are married to each other than Toons with other Toons. For those who have it, Toons consider their tails to be sacred. They might go into a depression if their tails are either injured or cut off. Senses All Toons have better senses than Humans, thanks to their animal origins. Sight - although it varies largely on the animal the Toon is based on, they can generally see better than Humans, particularly those animals like dogs and cats that can see much better than what we can see. These Toons have a distinct advantage, but regardless of species, all Toons can see somewhat better than Humans, even Toon worms. All Toons, regardless of who they are, are able to see in the dark. Smell - only Toons who is an animal that is capable of smelling better than Humans will have an advantage, like dogs and cats. All other Toons don't have an advantage over Humans. Hearing - like their smelling abilities, only Toons who is an animal that is capable of hearing better than Humans will have an advantage, like dogs. All other Toons don't have an advantage over Humans.. Six Sense - it has been proven that animals can sense things we cannot, like predicting the weather. All Toons do -not- have this capability. Life Expectancy Toons have a slightly higher life expectancy than Humans do, provided they eat right and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This doesn't count if some unfortunate accident should befall him or her. Most Toons can live up to a hundred, whereas most Humans cannot. Health Toons are hardier than Humans, meaning they can take more punishment from an accident and illnesses. There are, off course, exceptions to the rule, but it only counts for a small percentage of the entire population. Health is the one main advantage they have over Humans. When sick or hurt, they recover at a much faster rate. If it takes 8 weeks to heal a broken arm, it will only take 4 or even 3 weeks for a Toon. Treatment - Although Toons have the same basic makeup internally as Humans, small changes in structure, such as an elephant's trunk, can cause problems for doctors. As more Toons are getting into accidents, and new diseases are being discovered every day, it was time to open a new field of study for students: doctors that specialize in Toons. Several hospitals from around the world are already renovating to accommodate needs for injured Toons. Only people who have a degree in Toon medical sciences can operate on a Toon. New hospitals are already being built that is run entirely by Toons. Diseases - B Toons are subject to a wide variety of diseases. The majority of them are the same sort of diseases that Humans have, but the only disease Toons cannot have or pass along are AIDS and rabies. All other diseases occur only to Toons. Pet Peeves For all Toons with fur, they despise water. They will wash their hands with it, but it will be an exercise in frustration getting them to take a bath. Generally, Toons don't need to be bathed often, but if they get their fur all muddy, a bath would be necessary. Fur and water do not mix, as any Toon would tell you. Not only does it smell, but he she will have to -live- with the stench until it dissipates. Toons are -very- sensitive. The last thing they'd want is to be yelled at by those they love. Toons love the warmth and affection she will give to him, and when it is snuffed, they will become depressed and heartbroken. It is not wise at all to prolong them in this state, as they may try to kill themselves when their depression is too great. Toons are hardworking species. Even when old and maybe crippled, they still display active behaviour and are still able to walk, unlike the humans which usually are confined to a bed or a chair. They will be greatly offended if they are labeled as 'useless' or 'incapable of doing anything.' They pride on their work and the ability to help others when they are in need of it. FEMALE TOONS Most of everything above applies only to the male of the species, but little has been said about the females, so here's a brief run-down: Female Toons do not have a mating season. They do not come into heat, nor do they exhibit any urgings of any kind. Unlike female humans, female Toons are not concerned with beauty. They do not spend hours grooming themselves or buying make up and other accessories, although some might. Females are just as hardworking as the males, and will likewise be angry when called 'too old' by humans. Females do not have the same level of rambunctious energy that the males have, and are more sensible and calm. They seem to have a peaceful effect on males, being able to talk them out of doing anything crazy. However, they are more prone to stress sooner. The Great Mystery It has been known that A Toons can actually change into B Toons and vice versa, but the case of this ever happening is quite rare. It can happen at any time, and is usually very painless, and occurs most often at night. Once an A Toon has changed, they start becoming old and everything else that occurs in B Toons, but if one ever changed back to an A Toon, they never grow old every again. To understand this procedure, let's pretend there was an A Toon leopard that's 12 years old, and one day, while asleep, he changed to a B Toon. He stays a B Toon for 21 years. Now he's 32 years old. He changes back to an A Toon again and stays that way for 15 years, but he's still only 32 years old. He never aged a bit ever since he became an A Toon again. Most A Toons hate being B Toons, but they cannot help it if it happens to them. They never asked for it to happen. It just...happens. It cannot be controlled and it cannot be stopped. Granted, this happens very VERY rarely. It can take a bit of adjusting once a change is complete. A Toons who are now B Toons can now bleed and die. It can be unnerving. Personality changes also. Crazy A Toons are now serious B Toons. No one, even Toons, know why this happens, or why it occurs. Therefore, it is one of the greatest mysteries of Mankind.
