Situtated on the Mississippi river, and near the middle point of the contennital United States, St. Louis is a major hub for activities and is a passing through point for most lanes of transportion. This is how the city earned the name "Gateway to the West."
Like most cities, St. Louis has its own style and character, as well as its own share of characters. St. Louis is full of oppurtunties and resources, and is home to over 3 million people, a rather well established sci-fi/fantasy community, and a quickly growing furry presence.
